We had out wedding reception at Farmer Copleys in March 2019 in "The Barn" which is their function room upstairs above the cafe.

It was such a beautiful and unusual venue, the room looked beautiful and everyone commented that it was a "hidden gem". We had canopes outside and then up to the room for the night. We got to have photos taken in a private garden on the grounds too.

Andrew - the events manager - was so helpful throughout the whole process. They couldn't do enough for us to accommodate what we wanted. We had 70 guests which was a good number to fill the entire room with enough room left for the buffet and dance floor. They also worked so well communicating with our events decorator and DJ and balloon company and cake company... It took alot of stress away from me (I didn't have a wedding planner) that I could just put them in touch with each other and they liaised the plans.

And the best bit - the food! I read that the food is the main thing guests judge your wedding on and the food was absolutely gorgeous. Especially the canopes. Other weddings I've been to serve tiny tasteless pastries. These were halloumi fries, mini (bit not so mini!) beef burgers and mini fish and chips in a cone. They were devoured by our guests. They then served enough lasagne, chicken curry and steak pie that there was enough for seconds! Everyone was full up by the time the cheesecake, sticky toffee pudding and brownies were brought out!

Honestly can't recommend this enough for your...

We went for Sunday lunch and were approached immediately and given a table. Or food and drink orders were taken and payment required with order. This was OK if unusual for our eating out experiences. After a short wait our food arrived on piping hot plates but unfortunately the food was only aired. We asked for our drinks from the food waitress. Mo drinks came. We asked 3 different waitresses for our drinks and after me saying this is ridiculous we were served with them. In the mean time our favourite veg were served in a separate dish. Cabbage and broccoli BUT it was 80% stalks on both. I couldn't eat either. After we finished our meal 20 minutes passed and at least 12 waitresses passed us empty handed but never collected the plates. They were coming to the end of their shift and were standing about chatting to each other so not rushed doing other things. Eventually the haid waitress came and asked if we had enjoyed our meal so zi told her what had happened with us. She apologised and offered free puddings but we didn't want anything free. They really need new people to do the prepping. It was disgusting. I live locally but would never go for Sunday lunch again. I also advise.no one else to go unless they want stalks, cold food and very...

We have been here in May with the family/kids (lots of them!) for strawberry picking and in June for a lovely breakfast with my husband. The strawberry picking is super accessible for all ages and wheel chair friendly and you don’t need to lean over /crouch to pick the strawberries. The customer service here is amazing and so welcoming! The strawberries are THE best that I have EVER had, literally tastes like honey and so juicy! The breakfast we had today was amazing (halloumi slice) . The coffee is also great (I love my flat whites and it was done properly ) . We also had the ice cream last time and my family loved it, again no exaggeration one of the best ice creams! Lel served us today at breakfast and she was so lovely! Everyone was so polite at the restaurant. I would definitely come here again, we have officially become regulars! My family came all the way from roundhay (they can’t wait to come again) and we came from garforth. It’s worth the visit!!

What a great place this is... We were travelling from the South to Scotland and have a Sawdays book and this popped up so we took a mini detour and came here. What a surprise... It was very busy but the place is big enough so didn't feel over crowded We only wanted a coffee, we were shown to a table and served immediately. Everything looked amazing, with a field to fork mantra and seasonal cooking the food looked really good, fab menu as well with lots of choice... The cakes looked so good as well with a few nods to liquorice which is grown here There is a shop bursting with yummy things to eat and drink... Check out the bee hive in the far corner. There's also a pyo strawberry bonanza on at the moment and an ice cream shop.... The place is full of goodies!! We loved our stop off here, purchased a few bits and set off very happy.... Now we know, next time we will definitely stop for food
