Didnāt have a pleasant experience.
Ordered drinks and popadoms after sitting down. They came, we ate and we finished them.
We then waited about 20 minutes until they came to take our mains. We actually all forgot we hadnāt ordered yet - disappointing!
Youngish lad serving us was quite awkward, which is forgivable, but he spilled a bit of our wine and then didnāt wipe it up. We thought heād gone to get a cloth. Nope, we had to ask. He also offered to unfurl the napkins for us, but then just sort of ādroppedā them on you. Not asking to be touched, but it wasnāt very graceful!
Older waiter came across as so experienced he was arrogant. He didnāt even look at you when speaking to your table, and Iām not talking about eye contact. He was turned the other way cleaning up the next table. We knew he was talking to us as at that point we were the only table in the restaurant!
Starters eventually arrived about 45 minutes in. 25 minutes from ordering. (Again weāre the only table in!)
After being in the restaurant an hour, we realised that 1 of the takeaway customers that was sat waiting on the sofas when we arrived, was still waiting! Iād have given up at that pointā¦
Mains then came about half hour after that, so 1:15 after we sat down. (At this point another couple had come into the restaurant and got their starter by the time we got our mains. They actually had their mains by the time we had finished!
Not once did anyone tell us or apologise for a delay. We didnāt see endless orders going out for deliveries, so I just donāt know what the hold up was.
Adequate curry that was nothing to write home about. Very middle of the road Indian with a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOn the 28th July 2018 my son and friends went to eat in this place. He is allergic to nuts and checked with staff about the food He was ordering. They assured him he was safe to eat what he was ordering, even the manager was asked. When his food arrived he dipped a chip into the curry and a piece of naan bread, he then felt the allergic symptoms of stomache pain, panic and feeling itchy. After going to the toilets to check his face for swelling he went back to the desk and asked again if there were any nuts in his food. The manager stood there blatantly denying any traces of peanuts. Whilst it got to the point my son was struggling to breathe he needed his epi pen and an ambulance. He was rushed into hospital and straight into resus. The manager told my sons friends if he is that bad he shouldn't be eating out, he has eaten in lots of Indian restaurants that know what they are cooking. We have reported this place to the authorities but feel anyone with any allergy needs to think hard about eating here. We have also tried to speak to the manager he just hangs up...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI've never known customer service so bad!
Food didn't show up after two hours, answered the phone, told them the problem for them to say one minute and then left it on the side for half an hour! Completely ignored us!!! Won't even talk when phoned back! What a waste of time!!! Avoid if you actually want what you've paid for without having to drive down and complain!!!!! Absolute joke
Don't take on orders if you can't do them and don't completely ignore/ waste the time of your customers. What's wrong with you??!
After arriving, they are now scrambling to make an order they have completely missed. If we didn't drive, we would have gotten nothing.
Turns out delivery driver has delivered it to the wrong place. Owner was at least decent and offered a pint and made food while stood in the restaurant.
Why couldn't we have been told this on the phone? This has caused more stress...
