August ‘25 - Still a disappointing experience. Cafe doesn’t open until 10am, which for most folk is probably a couple of hours later than they would usually eat. And even when “open”, we had to wait 5 minutes until there were “ready”. Apparently they are “short staffed”. Clearly not managed well.

SYP could be a world-class experience if it was managed effectively.

Visited YSP in October ‘22. Decided to have breakfast in the café. The food was okay, but only just. Everything was under foil on a hot plate, so not as fresh as a local cafe. However, while there was a menu item for a “light breakfast”, I had to ask if there was a regular (heavy?) breakfast! It was a bit pricey, but I guess you’re paying for the view too. No black pudding, and hash browns instead of...

We pre-ordered the afternoon tea, at £18.95 it includes entry to the park if you're already planning on going to the park this is a similar price to a high street cafe or hotel with a beautiful view, if you're lucky enough to get a good seat.

The food itself is good I particularly enjoyed the cheese on toast, quiche and scone. The cake seemed a little bit of a let down but I'm still waiting to find a tourist destination cafe in England with excellent cakes so this was no great surprise.

The decor of the café is something of a let down given the setting in the grounds. But the food was worthwhile and the Sculpture park is a worthwhile day out in itself, highly...

There idea of statues are a bit weird--you know what they should look like but they have slightly altered them? dining area ---steelwalkway of names at least the length of a football pitch---loose sheep in the field so mind where you tread it's all over the path down to the lake ALLOW at least a hour to walk round the lake plenty of beauty spots plus Benches---parking is about 2 to 3 hours range also l do not know what all day cost?--there is also a musical iron Bench which needs to be touched to play -- plenty of open spaces so pick a clear day or take a brolly? it's a big place but no idea how many cars they can cater for?...

What a great place this is! If you like sculptures-great. If you want a walk in lovely country-great. Fancy a nice coffee or a snack- they do that too. However, if like me you like doing it all, this place is definitely worth the visit!! Check weather as most of the displays are outdoors!!
