Had a very bad experience here today. It's Saturday and lunchtime so there is quite a large queue, which is understandable. Been waiting for about 45 minutes in the queue in the hot sunny weather, getting frustrated but understanding the situatuon. Meanwhile am suffering from photosensitivy, and have just left a McDonald's drive through that had an even larger drive through so my frame of mind is not exactly ideal to begin with. Perhaps some of the blame is on my part as I should have realised something was a miss when 3 cars in front of ours pulled out of the drive through and left, unfortunately I thought that they had just gotten fed up of waiting and I obviously severely overestimated the intelligence and professionalism of the staff. Imagine my shock then when we pull up to the window only to be told that the fryer was not working and we could not order any burgers! It's one thing to inform customers that something mundane like the ice cream machine is out of order when they pull up, however you'd think that that someone employed at Burger King would realise that the inability to order a BURGER would be quite detrimental to anyone's desire to order anything at all. Furthermore since this had obviously been occurring for quite some time, you'd also think the possibilty of warning customers before they waste their time queuing would have sunk into their pathetic excuse of a skull. Alas I suppose their miserable half life of an existence has created such a desperate need for sadistic gratification they salivate at the opportunity to induce a fraction of their own soul crushing desolation upon the rest of the hopeless population, feeding off our good opinions and tendency to think the best of others in a vampyric fashion is obviously...
Read moreFind it utterly disgusting on the infection control and hygiene of the two female staff on duty this morning (25/10/2020 10:50am) Both exited through the fire exit for a cigarette standing in the doorway leaving all passive smoke enter the complex. This I wouldnt have noticed if they weren't wearing surgical masks under their chins. Both then proceed to put out their cigarettes, touch their masks with unwashed and unsanitized hands and place these on their faces before entering through the main public entrance of the services.
Clearly as wales is in a 'firebreak' lockdown we have had an uproar of what is essential and non essential, to keep the economy and public safe. And then you have employees with complete disregard to infection prevention control and hygiene while working in a food establishment. Management need to review their practices regardless of covid as to witness this is utterly disgusting and I personally will never buy food from the franchise at Monmouth North...
Read moreMyself and my partner arrived at store, there was no que head of us we promptly placed our order The lady serving us was then pulled into the office by what I assume is a manger. While they were in the office our food was prepared, bagged and put on the rack ready for us. Some 10mins after our food was ready the ' manager ' and the kind lady serving us came from the office and we were offered our meal... as I asked why we were made to wait for food witch had been sat around I noticed the ladies eyes were full of tears, as this 'manager ' stood scowling at her making me feel extremely uncomfortable. I asked for refund and left. Whoever this fella is - he needs to learn there is a time and a place. Making your staff cry and sending them back to work, allowing customers food to spoil isn't the may forward. I won't...
