We took Mam to Caffi Cariad for Mothers Day. Just as well we booked as every single table was reserved, that's a good sign! It's popular, nice atmosphere and raises money for St Kentigern Hospice. A brilliant little business. We had a soup and two prawn cocktails for starters followed by beef and chicken dinners.
And it was all excellent! Service was quick and friendly, food was well presented and the dinners piping hot. I had beef and it just right, tasty and tender with crunchy fresh vegetables and plenty of it! The roasties were spot on and the gravy was lovely and the real finishing touch. I didn't touch the huge Yorkie pudding as I knew the meat and veg would be more than adequate. Mam and sister were both equally happy with their chicken dinners. Great effort from a small attentive team who take pride in their work. Lovely waitresses, professional kitchen and all smiling and happy. A we were too! Well done, Da Iawn,. 5 Star all day....

All staff encountered were knowledgeable and friendly, special thanks to Ken and Eirlys. I love the fact that profits are directed to the Hospice - WIN WIN! I...
