What a pleasant surprise to find this welcoming and friendly eatery in Llangefni. It was clear to me that the patrons are passionate about what they do - delivering simple, well presented and reasonably priced food. Good quality coffee, temping cakes and sweet treats and traditional Turkish coffee & baklava.
I found the proprietors and staff to be personable and accommodating, despite running a busy eatery in the town centre.
They have had only been trading for 5 months, and despite that it felt to me that Cosy Corner cafe has already become a treasured asset to the local community.
A steady stream of customers trickled through the door during my visit and despite being fairly busy, the atmosphere was cordial and relaxed.
I look forward to visiting again, and would definitely recommend spending a bit of time and money here.
A short detour from the A55 if you are passing though Ynys Môn - (7 mins max).

First time visit here since it was taken over.
Went in with my girlfriend on a very wet morning, we had a coffee and tea, sausage sandwich and a BLT, what can i say, the coffee first, OMG that is truly amazing coffee, literally the best i have tasted in a long time and very well presented, my girlfriend enjoyed the tea immensely.
The Sausage sandwich tasted like it was 95% meat instead of the usual cereal packed sausages.
The BLT was on another planet, the bacon itself was so thick it could have been used as a crash barrier, and so full of taste, didn’t realise you got a side salad with it, and a small bowl of coleslaw, every single item was so full of flavour and fresh.
The staff/owner were so polite and friendly, truly a cafe with a difference
We will be back,...
Read moreHad to edit this review because they've started to do some cheap tricks on customers. I used to go there for a coffee a couple of times a week, now I go elsewhere because they decided to get rid of the coffee cups/glasses and replaced them with ones HALF the size. You now pay the same high price for a cup of coffee that's gone in three sips. Quite disgusting way to treat customers, when every other eatery in town gives you a proper sized coffee, not a toddler sized one.
The food is still reasonable and the prices are higher than others locally. But it feels like they're cheating you on the drinks, avondale a 100yrds up the road gives you a full sized coffee at a...
