We went to Parc Glynllifon down the road and were disappointed to see that the cafe there was closed, the lady working there however recommended we go here instead. The savoury food was fine, what youâd expect for the price, but the cakes and things were really lovely! I do think it wouldâve been nice if the turkey in the turkey sandwich was turkey breast slices rather than turkey sandwich meat for ÂŁ5 but they put plenty of meat in it so I canât complain too much. It's since had a lovely big extension which gives a lot more room and let's in loads of light so your able to see planes, mainly pleasure craft and helicopters (air ambulance and coast guard) take off. The staff were all lovely and helpful and the food was excellent. We had sausage and egg bap and bacon and egg bap. The bacon was lovely and crispy and the bap was huge! I was struggling to finish it towards the end but I did! And the latte we both had was really nice too. We'll definitely be back, probably next month (august) with my daughter...
   Read moreHaving seen the food and service improve in recent years it was disappointing to fly in recently and have to send back a bacon and sausage bap due to the contents not just being overcooked but actually incinerated! As in the past, no apology was offered and the food whisked away to be replaced with a tut!
Two burgers also served had the consistency of concrete so it would appear that standards are slipping back to the Cafe Hems days.
