Caffi Ni — Restaurant in Wales

FINALLY managed to eat here - we've tried a couple of times before and it's always been full.

The food was good, with good ingredients, generous portions and lots of "bits" - I got coleslaw, a good portion of fresh salad and some crisps along with the sandwich. The tea came in a huge pot certainly enough of 2 good cups, probably 3. The service was very friendly and fast, the place is spotless clean, the views are nice and there is a bit of space between the tables which I like. My only tiny negative is the coffee... Called in to day for lunch for the first time. Lovely modern premises and beautifully clean. Had a very tasty toasted tuna and cheese bake panini which came with a lovely mixed salad including grapes which added a nice fruitiness to it plus crisps. Had nice chunky chips as well which really wasn't needed because of the crisps would have been enough. Bough a really large slice of rocky road cake to have later for only £3. Booked for afternoon tea at 2pm. We were given tea and coffee as we sat down. After half an hour to ask a member of staff where the food was. He came back saying the food was on its way. No offer if any more tea and coffee, had yo ask. Still waiting an hour later. Nobody came to tell us there was a delay. However, when the afternoon tea did arrive it was very good. All homemade. Quiche, chicken pie, cheesecake, chocolate sponge and scones. Lovely...
