We loved the Cardiff Arms. Ideal for an evening drink, staff were friendly as were the locals. We had food the first night and were really impressed with quality and portions. The kids liked the beer garden and it had a really good feel about it. Like Adele's next door ideal if you've been down to the river or thr Castle and want to stop and relax....

Visited here last August whilst on holiday, we had lush veggie burgers with coleslaw, fries and onion rings. Nice little beer garden for our little one and dog to play. Staff were lovely, the lady gave our boy a choc bar for finishing his dinner, which he was chuffed with! Were hoping to return this week, totally gutted to find out they are closed...

We received a very warm and friendly welcome at this family run pub, opposite Cilgerran Castle. Relatively new ownership and we wish them well. The lunchtime bar food was tasty and good value, and the beer well kept. The fire in the main bar provided a cosy place...
