Cowpots Pizzeria — Restaurant in Wales

We returned on Thursday from Cowpots, along with our daughter and grandsons. It was a wonderful few days and we have nothing but praise for this lovely place. We had two tents on a very well resourced huge pitch, with cracking views. It is perfect for multi generation camping, or two sets of friends as you can share one pitch. The kitchen shelter was ace, and saved us taking a table. Why haven't more camp sites done this? We liked the car free aspect of the site, you have wheelbarrows to transport your things from car to pitch. On Wednesday we enjoyed delicous pizzas from the farm pizzeria, and those that had room enjoyed the ice-cream also made on the farm. We have just spent 3 nights at Cowpots and I wish I had booked it for longer. We had an amazing time here and the facilities in the tree field are brilliant. We had our own covered table area where we housed our kitchen, our own hot shower and sink was just luxury for camping, and the compost loo was genius. The kids made lots of friends with the other kids on site and as there were no cars allowed in the tree field I felt perfectly happy for them to run around and wear themselves out before bed. A wonderful experience to have as a family. Amazing homemade ice cream with loads of different varieties for the family to choose from. Pizzas look fantastic and will return to try them in the next couple of days. Just amazing service even allowing the children to sample the flavours before making their choice.
