Crofty coffee shop and cafe — Restaurant in Wales

Very disappointed. Even though there was just the two of us and two others in the cafe so they were not at all busy, tables outside were not wiped clean and had crumbs and gunge all over them and one table was not cleared of crockery and food remains all the time we were there though the flies probably had a good feast! Apparently the staff were on a break and just sitting around but tables should be cleaned when cleared. The tea was brought out with no milk so had to go back in and ask for it. My cream tea scone was brought out with a fork but no knife to spread the jam and cream with so again I had to go and ask! On a positive, the scone which looked more like a teacake tasted nice and the tea was nice too. Regarding the service, they seemed to be trying to justify themselves by "we've had a busy morning". They really need to up their game especially regarding simple...

Not the type to leave a review normally,but paid just shy of £30 for myself and partner for two all day breakfast and two lattes and two cans of coke. Drinks were fine! But the breakfast was a disgrace....it literally looked like I had someone else's left overs just thrown on the plate.
