Stopped over for 1 night stay , had a couple of drinks,on the first night , social distance measure throughout the pub ,so we felt quite safe , we pitched up in the car park with elec hook up £12 , very good value , we stayed for Sunday lunch which was lovely, its usually buffet style but because of covid it was brought to your table, 2 courses for £12 , excellent value , overall a very friendly welcome, so thanks Peter and diane and lola...

Fantastic pub! My family & I (5 of us) had a great night watching Wales play in the pub, then we came again for Sunday Lunch the next day! 2 courses for £12.50 each - and well worth it, the best Sunday lunch we’ve had! Lovely owners and a friendly atmosphere. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a lovely meal & drinks. Thanks the Horse and Jockey for making our stay a little bit...

Here for Sunday roast carvery, had enormous joint of beef and huge turkey breast, had very generous helping of both and loaded my plate with all the trimmings. Both meats were mouthwatering, great atmosphere. Great to see comfortable armchairs and sofas in front of a real log burner...
