The Junction Cafè, bugger me look at the size of that sausage!
I love a full English Breakfast and this little cafè does one of the best. I have reviewed many breakfasts and this is up there. I was skipping through the quiant village of Ystalyfera (after escaping the sausage men) I found myself once again hungry and in need of a meal.
I had seen the cafè while I was in Asda a few days prior and curiosity got the better of me and I decided to give the cafè a go.
I crossed the roundabout (I was only run over twice) but I picked myself up, dusted off my hat, and walked into the cafè. The cafè was very small, but it was warm and cosy. 6 tables lined the walls with a small walk way and bathroom at the back. The people in the cafè were friendly and really helpful. I ordered the standard breakfast at the counter and I sat down. The lovely lady (who's name I fail to recall) brought me my complimentary cup of coffee. Excellent coffee.
Then my meal arrived!

The sausage was enormous and wonderfully tasty! It was like the 5th leg of a stallion on my plate! Excellent!

Read moreThis may be a small cafe, about 24 seated inside and another 12 outside, but the food is excellent and exceptional value. The breakfast comes with bacon that is thick but not at all tough, and the mushrooms are fried to perfection in my opinion. Also on the plate comes baked beans, black pudding and a jumbo sausage. Put that together with 2 rounds of toast and a mug of coffee and you have very substantial meal for the money. They also do take out options for example bacon rolls and the like. Well...
Read moreMy wife , My Daughter and My self found this café by chance, and what a little gem it is, the café was spotless, we each had a breakfast roll, and they were as good as we have had anywhere, really fresh bread and packed with filling and very reasonably priced. The two ladies serving were very polite and chatty and both obeyed covid rules, We will be back down that area in the late Summer and will be looking forward to another breakfast roll. Will definitely recommend...
