Beautiful sunshine shame we chose to come to this little place we have been several times over the past 4 years and the last few times the service has been shocking today they kept getting our order wrong and kept coming and asking us to repeat what we wanted to then be told they have run out then they bring one dessert out only two of us eating and then later bring out the other dessert when we said we was not happy they said we was being rude complaining to them and then when we went to pay they said well you did eat it so you don’t get a discount not very good customer service when you have to eat separately as they made the mistake with the order even after they checked it with different staff we won’t be going again

We are local but had some friends from abroad to stay and wanted to share a British high tea experience. It was nothing short of magnificent, a huge selection, everything generous, homemade and delicious. Unbelievably good value. Our friends were most impressed. (And we all got a doggy box for leftovers to take home!). As ever service was very friendly and helpful, always a warm welcome here. Thank you for a wonderful afternoon. (Ps the afternoon tea needs booking in advance).

Absolute little gem. Very hearty, good food and it's always served hot. The cakes are gorgeous, especially the brownie and rocky road, and the breakfasts are awesome! Really set you up for a day walking around the beautiful island of Anglesey. They do Sunday lunch too but it's advisable to book as it gets very busy. The Sunday lunches are awesome aswell. In fact, we've always had very good meals here. Highly recommend 👌

Visited today after searching for a good restaurant whilst visiting Anglesey.

On arrival first impressions exceeded our expectations, we were met with very friendly staff, could hear them singing in the kitchen which we loved because it shows they’re happy to be working there, they all made us feel very welcome.

We ordered the Welsh rarebit, Welsh Beef Stew and cheesy chips, when it arrived we saw the portions are very generous so we didn’t really need the chips but couldn’t resist them, the food came piping hot and the tastes were something else - amazing!, we don’t have a bad thing to say about the food because it was faultless, the only thing we would change is the address so it’s closer to home rather than over 100 miles from us, that way we could go every week 🙂

We will definitely be returning and recommending to everyone we know travelling this way…

We don’t have any negative feedback to give, just don’t change a thing because the whole experience is...

Sunny Saturday in May- Firstly the good- good location, nice outside seating and plenty of choice on the menu. Negatives- the wait for food was close to 50 minutes, with no warning when the order was taken which with 2 children would have made us simply get a takeaway cake just to keep us going. Staff weren’t particular friendly and didn’t update us on the order time. There were about 8 people working in the kitchen so not a clue how the business makes money- £80 per hour just on labour?! We visit the island a few times a year and unfortunately would be put off visiting again. A free drink or side due to the wait would have changed my view completely. Think the owner needs a rethink. It’s good potential but needs some tweaks. Also, no apologies due...
