McDonald's — Restaurant in Wales

Usually a go-to McDonald's location for myself, but my last visit has really disappointed me enough to change my past review. It was 12:30am, and we were coming back home from a concert in Warwick (so a relatively long distance trip). With having to be at work in 9 hours time, we thought maccies would be a good shout as its usually a quick stop. We'd placed the order on our way and then checked in on arrival. Stayed in the car for 5 minutes before heading into the store to find only one other customer there. We waited for at least 15 minutes before we saw our first staff member who had come to give this other customer his food. It was the smallest bag you could get, definitely hardly a thing in there but he was waiting well over 15 minutes for the food. Not off to a good start. Now, being the only customers in the store, I thought it would be a lot quicker service. We were waiting an approximate total time of 30 minutes for our food. The atmosphere was awful. Granted no one was around at this time in the morning, but since the remodeling, the place just looks absolutely dreadful. You'd find more cheer in a graveyard. You're really just waiting for your food to come out of this black hole in the wall. 25 minutes into waiting, he brought the food out and then said "just waiting on the apple pies". Which took an extra 5 minutes.. a painful extra 5 minutes. After we collected the food, it was a quick journey home, and then absolutely famished, but exhausted, we tucked in. I do believe the reason you're not able to see inside the kitchens anymore is because they've turned them into archery classrooms, where your food is launched one piece at a time onto a target. From the looks of things, the staff need more lessons because a blind person could stack a more presentable burger. The attitude of the staff this morning was disgraceful! Placed an order via the app, to arrive and be told part of your order was out of stock! When i asked why wasn't i offered an alternative or substitute breakfast item? The server couldn't care less & said theirs nothing i can do its out stock! I pointed out we are now one meal short and have a crying child because of this issue! Again offering no sympathy! i asked to speak with the manager? He asked whats the problem! Looking like he'd just been dragged through a hedge backwards! Again having to explain the whole thing to this man, as well! Again being greeted by what do you want me to do?

After uncomfortable conversation with 2 different staff he reluctantly agreed to offer an alternative breakfast item! So we moved forward to the next window just be be greeted by a young blonde haired girl with an even worse attitude! i was handed the food quite aggressively! when i checked the bag of food, of course the extra breakfast item we agreed on wasn't inside the bag! Now had the third point of complaining! & holding up other cars waiting another 5 minutes before we actually got what we paid for, again being given the dirtiest look while mumbling abuse under her breath!

I was treating staff to a Friday lunch treat as we were working near by. I have used this place before and never came away feeling that was good so the lads got there first and were almost done. Apart from kept warm fries not fresh and hot. This has been the issue previously. I decided to just stick with a coffee so one of the lads went up to order doing me a favour because I was having a bad day standing up and walking because I have MS. He came back around 4 minutes later with no coffee ! I asked why ? Because it was still being processed !!, He had made a mistake by ordering at the whatever you call them but not the counter , after 14 minutes I went across to the counter because the coffee it said was still being processed ! Two staff were standing doing nothing 3 customer's stood at the counter and no one was obviously making I mean pouring out my coffee. When I said 15 minutes so where's my coffee "oh we're just doing it" I lost the plot and ripped my receipt up and told them not to bother and then annoyed and embarrassed because everyone was watching me try and walk out of the place looking like a right cripple, which is what I am but stress makes my walking and ms condition worse . I Will never use a McDonald's again in my life and am not surprised by horribly poor reviews They obviously don't...
