PLEASE READ THE WHOLE REVIEW 👍 McDonald's is McDonald's nothing really different about this one and just like others they still missed part of the order although they corrected the mistake they still made me feel like they thought I was trying to get something for nothing but hey ho it's just a takeaway....... Visited on 22nd July 2022 as previously mentioned not much really different to any other site unfortunately on this occasion the place was plagued with flies when I asked a member of staff what was wrong he just replied "it's normal" I'm sorry but that's not normal what is worse is that they didn't care so the question is how safe is the food when I asked to speak to a manager I was told there busy and would have to come back my reply was simple look out for my review bit of a shame as some of the staff are quite good and helpful and yes we walked out without our food didn't fancy starting my holiday being unwell it will be a while before we go back. Come on people sort yourself out there is no need for this and don't be putting the blame on the weather. The whole place will need a good wipe down. Sorry guy's & girl's. ☹️☹️ Date of visit 28/10/22 McDonald's is McDonald's where ever you go the one in Welsh pool seams to be a victim of it's own success, to busy with not enough staff which in turn makes for slow service wrong and cold food ect our mistake was to ask for Apple Pies as this ends up with the other food being made ready then left for the Apple Pies cooked thus other food going cold when we told them the stuff was cold our answer was it's because we are busy so would have to wait our turn for a fresh batch. You get one chance to it will be a while before we go back if at all. Read moreWe planned to stop here on our way home from our family holiday. Unfortunately I didn't think to look up the scores on the doors. We later found they were 'satisfactory' but they were FAR from satisfactory! We had to dine in as unfortunately our car was too squashed. It was soon apparent that the restaurant is infested with flys as they are everywhere and it's easy to see why. Tables have remnants of food on and are left dirty, there's food left on the floors making easy meals for them and we saw a bin with a rubbish bag just left sitting next to the bin. Ordering boards are clearly not sanitised regularly as they're covered in finger marks and the whole place generally looks dirty and uncared for. There are flys under every table, landing on surfaces and landing on each other. 🤢 All toilet areas stink of urine and without soap in the mens, plus the lock on the accessible toilet is broken. Toilets too contain flys. Unfortunately all of this only dawned on us after ordering our food which was OK but left me queasy to think of the possible kitchen situation given the situation with flys in the eating area. The restaurant itself is tiny with far to many customers to serve its purpose safely. The car park is equally unfit for purpose being just as small. Very silly decisions considering the restaurant is situated on a major trunk road through Wales. On leaving we saw bins overflowing all around the car park. We paid just over £30 for what was was supposed to be a lovely treat with the kids and which actually turned out to be a health risk. Tier 1 - The Muppets in Property/Operations that designed that ridiculous drive thru where you have to orienteer around a waiting vehicle to proceed with your customer journey. Anything bigger than a mini is getting smacked as we witnessed during using the drive thru for the first time when a woman smashed her back window attempting to get round a van waiting on the second and final window. I mean what absolute muppets looked at that design and said yeah this is functional for fast service and also completely safe…
Tier 2 - The management, the whole operation is slow, rude and downright unsatisfactory. It’s McDonald’s guys, follow the time old system that you all copy and replicate across most stores. For someone to have a serious issue with McDonald’s means you have a problems and it’s likely the idiots running it.
Tier 3- The staff, the staff who are rude , impatient and completely lacking of any service, I frequently refer to them as pit bulls hanging out of Windows. Only today one extra large pit bull asked me to attempt to orienteer my expensive car, worth more than her salary and then some around a scrap heap van. She looked like she was going to bite me when I refused so I promptly rolled up my window and called animal...
