Awful experience. We arrived around 2 pm, and we asked what the soup was. We were told it was Parsnip and immediately ordered.
The member of staff went to the kitchen to ask something and then came out to say they are no longer serving food. We found this odd given that she had just confirmed the soup with the kitchen, and the cafe is open until 4 pm. Fair enough if we were trying to order at 3.45pm, but this was at 2pm.
We ordered coffees and welsh cakes, which took 20 minutes to come (cafe was empty, save for ourselves). The rude member of staff then slammed them on the table, didn't even take the items off the tray, and walked off.
Never have I had such an awful customer service experience. Complete letdown to what is a...

Read moreThursday 2nd January. Google said open. Parked in the top car park where it also said Caffi Meinir was open. Walked at least a mile down a very steep hill to find the whole place including the cafe was closed. Long, difficult walk back to the car for us, hungry and dissapointed. The only saving grace is that the location is so stunning, we couldn’t be too downhearted. But to not update your opening hours during a period of the year when many people are off work and looking for somewhere to eat is not good enough, especially when to reach the cafe is off the...
