Ordered from here twice. The first time the food was over an hour late to our door, second time (tonight) my husband made the order but forgot chips. I'm 5 months pregnant and craving those chips! I called the restaurant to add it on to the order which they did no problem and said I'd pay the extra £2 to the delivery guy. Food arrived, delivery guy didn't speak any english so my husband just handed over the £2 but when we checked, NO CHIPS!! I called the restaurant again asking where they were as we'd just payed for them... and get "well I did add them to the order so they should be there. I can add them to your next order or get someone to send them out" so I asked for them to be sent because again I'm pregnant and wanted my chips!!! That we'd payed for!!!!! Was told that they'll send them out but don't know when they'll arrive because they only have 1 driver. I only live up the road and it's just a bag of bloody chips. Anyway, long story short, the restaurant is now closed and still no chips! I am not a very happy preggo lady!! The delivery driver got a lovely £2 tip for F...
Read moreA slightly weird experience! Visitors staying in nearby airbnb. Saw 50% off mains offer and decided to dine in. We were the only ones there. A bit souless. Thanks to the young lad (aged about 10!) we had a good time because he was switched on and responsive. Maybe Dad's speciality is cooking because the food was great and well presented but customer service was lacking. You can't take in alcohol and you need cash to pay. Both need to be well signed outside. There is a big difference between take away prices and sit in (about £2 per item) and on reflection we were paying to sit somewhere less pleasant than our cottage. However there is no where else walking distance. Hopefully the son gets the career he craves but in the meantime he's the heart of...

I travel up and down the country finding great places to eat curry and having been to Brick Lane in London to Sparkbrook in Birmingham, I have tried lots of places to eat. This was among the best. The mix of spices were unique and the flavour poured from every mouthful. Really authentic cooking and staff who could not have made us feel more welcome. As I say look past the frontage of the building (and old hotel that looks nothing like a curry house) and step into taste heaven - the meal was outstanding and I...
