This one is very simple: Chances are, if you're considering eating here you're a paddler, following a hard day's paddling, so, chances are, you want a hearty, unpretentious meal and a pint in congenial company of fellow paddlers: this is exactly what the Paddlers Return provides. Food was lovely and there were lots of games free to use, the food service went to quite a long wait but it's because we were there when it opened. Overall lovely and it isn't a formal place, great for a night out and the food was served well. Great value popular freshly prepared food. Ales and lagers available. Very dog friendly. At the weekend during the summer it will be seriously busy and the wait for food can be over an hour, so best to get there early (around 5pm) and order in advance.
