What a great wee discovery this place was! Happened upon it randomly when I saw an advert for (the very excellent) 'Ram Ram' playing upstairs at the bar. As soon as you walk in, the atmosphere is super friendly - even for blow ins like us. My friend asked if he could have a go on the piano downstairs, and within minutes was entertaining the bar. Great venue, great beer, great pub, great people. Easy parking and worth the effort in finding it. Highly recommended!

Dog friendly boozer. Was my 2nd visit to this place today, ordered the burger and chips after a little mountsin day, decent scran. Last was here was a late evening and the staff kept the place open after closing time due to the Masters going into a playoff. Both times friendly atmosphere, people engaging in convo... defo recommend for a few shandy's and a scran. 2 pints of coke and 2 burgers, chips and coleslaw £20 - reasonable price.

Hidden little gem that we found while spending the night in town. Friendly locals, good beer, delicious pizza. An all around great cozy place, definitely recommended.

The real fire was very welcome on a chilly October evening. Service was friendly and efficient and the beer pretty good. The decor was a bit unusual with some autumnal theme but also a helmet, from a suit of armour, and an axe just lying on a shelf. I didn't feel the need to fight my way out so we've survived to write another review or two. There were two televisions showing different sports. I found it interesting that the rugby had sound but the football, featuring the Welsh team, did not; I guess that's the passion for the game...

Pant Yr Ardd, is a gem of a find for us, and is now our " go to " pub / diner whenever we are in the Bethesda / Bangor area. We do not know how Richard does what he does when making and preparing his burgers, but they are heavenly delicious. Pant yr Ardd, has a lovely chilled, informal atmosphere, and Richard and team provide a very warm and friendly welcome. Thank you all and apologies for dashing off, as we had to be at Pontio by 7pm. Diolch yn...
