Pantruthyn Farm Table Table — Restaurant in Wales

As has been mentioned we pre booked a month in advance. The waiteress were great. However want was extremely disapointing was the quality of food. After waiting for 2 hours the food arrived cold boiled so much that all the flavour was gone. The turkey appered to be a heated up roll of turkey that was rubbery. When asked by the waiteress is everything ok. I replied no not really explained to her my concerns. She appoliged. The manager then came over some time after and tried to provide an excuse for the poor quality of the food. Being that they were busy. Really i said you have covers that are here with noone sitting at any of these tables all afternoon. Hes reply how do you know sir have you seen the other side of the restaurant its very busy. Actually yes i have ive walked over. Really sir you've walked over to the other side. I also stated to him that the table of 10 came in an hour after us have been served and left. The fact that myself and a fellow dinner were at the bar talking with another customer who was sittinng on the suggested side that was busy. She was also complaining that she had been waiting for an hour and a half and its not busy. I joked with her saying we have a table of 65 people so thats the reason. Apart from the sub standard heated up food i have to question the managers customer service and attitude towards the customer. I would suggest trying a different place like Macdonalds and thats...

Had table booked for 5pm, was told the party before us weren't leaving so did we mind waiting. We waited 20 mins and had to go and ask what was happening. Our party then had to be split over 2 tables because they had still not left and had even ordered more drinks. At this point the staff should have asked them to move to the bar but they didn't. We finally sat down and 40 mins later our starters hadn't arrived. We couldn't order any more drinks as the waitress was no where to be seen. 15 min wait at the bar to get served. After starters we waited another hr for our main course, quality was awful- plastic Sunday roast and what looked like microwave veg, burnt chicken and ribs which were inedible, smothered chicken which had a tiny bit of sauce on the end and a teaspoon of cheese, very dry and tough to eat. 3 meals sent back and one of our party had had to leave due to the delay. Worst service and food. We should have left after the starters as they took so long. Staff were miserable, no wonder since they were run off their feet, so bad the chefs were serving the tables as well. Seriously understaffed and complaints from numerous tables with most waiting 2+ hrs for food. Will not ever be...

Came here today, 16/01/2022, for my birthday with the family. Never been before but my daughter in law and her husband booked it as a surprise for a chance for us all to enjoy some family time together. First impressions was it a nice pub with friendly staff but it wasn't too busy. Table was booked for 1 o'clock for 5 adults and 4 children so we arrived and took our seats by ten to one. Staff came over fairly quickly with menus and took our drinks order which I thought great that was quick. How wrong was I it took nearly 20 minutes for the drinks to reach the table and the another 40 minutes for the starters to arrive , but the order was wrong. The main course came nearly an hour after the starters with a main course missing, sides missing and cold food. Only 6 of us had desserts but from start to finish we were there for nearly 3 and a half hours..The portions were very small on some of the meals too. I still enjoyed my birthday meal as a family but I really won't be returning here as the whole meal cost just short of £200 including the drinks but poor service and food quality definitely...
