Our stay was absolutely perfect! The rooms were impeccably clean, and the newly renovated bathroom was a delightful touch. The beds were very comfortable. Kevin and his wife were incredibly friendly and attentive, striking the perfect balance of being helpful without being intrusive. Their small family business exudes warmth and charm. There is an on-site pub and restaurant. The classic English breakfast was a real treat, prepared especially for us with fresh, local ingredients sourced from the neighboring farms. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, making our stay a flawless experience. The inn is nestled in a charming and peaceful little village, providing the ideal setting for a relaxing getaway. We left feeling completely rejuvenated and would recommend a stay at Kevin and his wife’s to anyone, whether it's for a beer, a fancy dinner, or a night at the Inn.

This is our second visit Penny & Derek made our stay a pleasure. They have apartments to suite everyone’s budget - I have never stopped at a holiday apartment so immaculately finished, the converted vicarage is set in the most stunning countryside surroundings, better still they welcomed our Spaniel Eve too. For my wife and I this is a home from home, exceeded all expectations and some! Many thanks for having us back x Worthy a visit. Burry Port is a worthy 38 minute drive to a stunning beach which is dog friendly After looking at other local beaches we found this to be best for locality and practicality. Miles of sand and sea for our little dog to play.

My partner, our cockapoo and I stopped in here for dinner, we did not stay. Absolutely sensational. We had the smoked salmon starter, the spiced lamb rump main and the beef main, finished off with the sticky toffee pudding, all 10/10, without doubt the best food we've had on our weeks holiday in Wales. I cannot recommend this place highly enough, it was absolutely delicious. Amy and Kevin who own and run the Pen Y Bont Restaurant were so lovely and kind to us and talked us through the menu, I honestly cannot recommend this place enough it was amazing.

We had a warm welcome, and ordered drinks 1 stout 1 IPA and a bottle of wine.|The wine was not cold as there is no wine cooler fridge,|Then moved into the restaurant which is simple and pleasant, we was by the wood burner.|We ordered starters 2 x pork terrine 2 x crab, the crab was for me a bit cold so lacked some flavour, the pork was ok.|The mains 2 x monk fish 2 x flat Iron and short rib. The monk fish was good but could have done with a little more sauce and a little veg or garnish. The flat iron and short rib for me was perfect, but very well-seasoned.|The desert was a lemon based desert which was pleasant and refreshing.|The dining room was a little noisy (noise from the bar area it was rugby night) and the lady’s found it cold, when someone come in or left the place it was very draughty and we was by the fire.||Overall all it was ok as the oven was not working and it had not been open long. we are returning to in march to see if things have settled and any changes have been made, which we are looking...
