National trust cafes used to be great. Wholesome freshly made food with great service. Now under Covid you are made to feel like a leper and given basic food in a take away tray with flimsy plastic cutlery and a drink in a paper cup. This is terrible for the environment and leaves you feeling like you just paid £20 for a bus station take away. Who said under Covid that coffee could not be presented in a normal cup?

£3.70 for a little over half a cup of coffee, loads of froth, and a little amount of coffee and I had to wait 12 minutes because there was a queue of all of 1 customer in front of me! Then served myself, forgot my order, and served the next person then asked who wanted the wrong drink, then remade my just about warm, half a coffee, don't think il bother again. Disappointed 😞

We came here to do parkrun on our journey home from Caernarfon what a morning it absolutely poured down of rain so the views were of mist. We then finished and enjoyed a cuppa from the cafe and then the rain had stopped and the views appeared we will be back to explore as the route would of been stunning had the weather been sunny 😎

Decent range of small lunch items, but a member of staff who was clearly only just being trained was left on her own for a while causing a queue to build up. Obviously not blaming her as we visited towards the start of the season, not sure why one young girl was left on her own in a busy cafe. Food and drinks were lovely and what we expect from a...
