My daughter and I recently attended the RedLion for a meal at short notice, and were pleasantly surprised at the warm reception which we received. The bar was relatively quiet for the time and the day. Read moreWe visited this place yesterday and the staff weren't very helpful , the young girl came back to go back over our order and even then when the food finally arrived it was wrong. We waited a long time for the food even though it was quiet and the worst part was the drinks hadn't been put on the bill, to be fair we hadn't noticed and then once we had paid and left my uncle had 9 missed calls for him to come back and pay for the drinks. I found this very rude as it's not our fault they were not on there and its the mistake of the staff but to ring several times off mobiles and off landline is just out of order. Great for a light lunch or an evening meal. The landlady is extremely friendly and made us feel valued as a customer. The team are more than happy to help with any thing we need.
