super Carl.super Carl.
I've been here before but think it may have changed ownership, the breakfast which was one of the best around has changed, the sausages are awful very greasy almost like there deep fried, no better than an Iceland bag of 50 sausages for £2. Which is very disappointing considering there nxt door to a farm shop. The curry was ok nothing to shout about, service was quick and pleasant, am afraid I will not be going back until theres a full menu and a better sausage.

A medium sized farm shop with a good range of vegetables, & Spanish onions the size of small footballs. They also sell, eggs, and breakfast cereals. Cafe is adjoining at the back of the building. The Cafe has a range of foods ( see menu) we just had a coffee and cake that was fine. The Cafe is relatively dimly lit, and was clean and tidy. It's close to the A55 which makes it convenient.

We went to a wedding venue for a tour and after on our way home we saw the signs for a farm shop and decided to follow and stumbled upon this lovely place! Great vibe, lovely staff, clean and gorgeous food😍 We got a small breakfast (no tomatoes) and a sausage and bacon bap with a side of hash browns Hot chocolate 10/10 and diet coke is always better out of a glass bottle

Probably one of the worst cafe experiences I've had. Especially for here.

Firstly, I asked 3 waitresses to clear and wipe down our table from the previous occupants. A waitress finally came and took the plates but didn't wipe the table down.

We waited for 40 minutes for our 3 breakfasts and a children's chicken and chips. I asked for an estimated time and the watched the waitress go into the kitchen and check the tickets. I could see that there were no meals ready.

Another 5 minutes passed and our breakfasts came out (missing a sausage on one). 5 minutes later I had to ask again for the children's meal. That then came out another 5 minutes later steaming hot. By this point it was clear we had been forgotten about completely.

The waitresses apologised and asked us if we wanted complementary drinks. We accepted and then proceeded to eat our food for the next half hour with no sign of those drinks. In the end we left.

So today we paid £40+ for terrible service and by the time I'd got round to eating...

This place used to be excellent and we've visited weekly (at least) since opening.

Unfortunately the last two visits have been pathetic.

Maybe a victim of their own success?

I've just paid for two portions of scrambled egg, two bacon and a sausage. I'm not eating carbs.

In order to speed up service of the 'standard' breakfast it's quite clear that they pre-fry the eggs (evident from my wife's food, and the tables around me.) Remarkably they never scrambled 4 eggs as per my order, they simply mashed up some of the pre cooked fried eggs and shoved them in the microwave. No way was there 4 eggs (2 portions of 2) like I'd paid for. They resembled a type of nuclear fallout.

The bacon (again 2 portions) was tiny, and way over cooked. More like 'essence of bacon.'

The sausage, (butchers, well done for not serving catering sausage) but must be 80% fat.

The place is busy, I'm most likely in the minority, but if I ran this place I'd be seriously upset about what's just been served, especially at this...

Been to Susan’s on a number of occasions and in the past the food has been very good however on this occasion it was very poor. We had the full breakfast and eggs Benedict, both were luke warm/cold and parts of the breakfast were undercooked. We waited nearly an hour for the breakfasts to arrive and yes I realise it was Christmas Eve and it was busy but, keeping food warm/hot is not hard. I mentioned this to a staff member as we were leaving and she said if I’d mentioned it we could have had another breakfast (hot) however we did not want to wait another hour! I was not looking for a refund or discount on the bill, and we didn’t get one, so wasn’t disappointed by that! However we won’t be coming again which is a shame as it’s been a nice place in the past I’m not picking on this place in isolation as there are other establishments we don’t return to. Front Staff are pleasant and friendly and do a good job, let down by the...
