One of those places you need to know about. Found this by pure chance as I was camping up the road and the campsite owner runs a taxi service from the pub to the village, including pub and shop! anyway, super friendly service, great beer, friendly locals and tasty food. Had nachos followed by half n half chilli with rice n chips (that’s the half n half ) food is reasonably priced, tasty, good portions. Cake on the bar. When you go here do talk to people. Ask about the specials (salt n pepper chicken and gammon with eggs AND pineapple)

Very lively and loved pub, you are made to feel like a local straigt away. A lot of people are ‘import’ who fell in love with this beautiful area. Within one visit to the pub i got a job and a list of places to visit. Have not had the food yet, and for my liking the light is a bit bright. But worth it to give it a try!

Excellent local pub, warm welcome, great beer at excellent prices! Live music in the beer garden on a sunny Saturday afternoon! What more do you want! Highly recommended.

An absolute gem of a "local" with an amazing atmosphere, a great selection of drinks at a great price (including Trooper on tap!), great owners and jukebox! Yes it's a rock pub but everyone of every age, rocker or not are made to feel very welcome, including tourists and the cheesy chips are awesome! They occasionally have live bands, the last one I saw being a Ska band and their own festival featuring a variety of acts of many different genres. I just wished I could go more often than I do! I don't just recommend it, I'm telling you...

My band (The Rusty Nutz) played at the recent "Rock The Gwasbah" festival hosted at this wonderful Pub. The event itself was awesome, filled with equally awesome people. The Pub is just a perfect rural Pub, very friendly staff and patrons and all very welcoming. The variety of local craft Beers is also great. The food at the festival was outstanding, the usual top quality, handmade Burgers, Sausages and the like. All in all a beautiful Pub in a beautiful village run by beautiful folk. See you at the next...
