Absolutely gorgeous little old village style pub. Lovely old beams, slate floors, some wonderful history on the walls. Prices are very reasonable in an age where everything is becoming unaffordable. Food is proper pub food, good portions with a matching price. Recommend this for a proper piece of wales to be visited. The beer garden has some great scenery surrounding too. The staff are friendly as are the locals too. They also welcome dogs in the garden and bar area

Lovely traditional country pub, we randomly found it as a place to stop for lunch on our way to Aberporth. Great service, good food range and quality of food. Thank your for the wonderful hospitality!

Brilliant friendly pub. We had an absolutely delicious dinner there on a Friday evening (we called beforehand to make sure they had space for us to have food). Highly recommend, great local beers.

Three stars maximum for my visit I'm afraid. Staff/locals were friendly. So I ordered a curry with nann and chutney but it came with neither nann nor chutney, but a couple of slices of bread and butter. Only when I asked was an explanation given. Should really have been told before hand. A popadon would have been nice addition too. Strangly it was served with peas too - which i thought was a bit unusual. Also ordered a lamb shank with jacket potato but it came with chips. Was bit pricy too for what it was. So unfortunately I felt disappointed with visit, on this occasion. Odd too was the picture and stained glass window of somebody in the gallows 🤔 don't know what...

Called in by chance on Saturday afternoon. This smallish country inn was very busy. There was a band playing and a regulars birthday was being celebrated. The atmosphere was amazing, we were made very welcome and served with our drinks from the well stocked bar quickly. Food is served at this inn and even though the party was in full swing it was available. There is a car park adjoining. I was pleased to see 3 traditional ales on offer, the Cwrw was very good. A popular traditional Welsh pub well worth a visit. The prices were...
