Tafarn y Vale / Vale of Aeron — Restaurant in Wales

Huge piece of beer battered cod was delicious as were the home cut chips! Great atmosphere, friendly staff, proper locals pub but made to feel welcome, bit of banter as England has just lost to Scotland in the rugby... Chocolate brownie with salted caramel was amazing, the sticky toffee pudding was huge with lashings of butterscotch sauce, just gutted that this is not local to me...

Food is very nice. By the way, the website menu is out of date.

Food took 30-40 minutes to come which is a bit on the long side, especially since there were only two other occupied tables.

We had lamb, Texan burger, and cod. It was all nice.

The toilets need a revamp, they're run down and don't feel the cleanest. Floors I'm both male and female toilets...

A community pub with bags of character and characters within. A real pleasure to visit.
