This place is a hidden gem. Highly recommend. Food is great quality with affordable prices. The staff & atmosphere is friendly, peaceful with an at home with friends feel. You can also stay in the Shepard’s hut near by. Trust me it beats any hotel stays. The hut, the views of land & sea. Is phenomenal. Little stroll and you find yourself at a little beautiful beach and a coastal walk. I would say this place is definitely a number 1 spot to come to in Pembrokeshire

We came for a Sunday lunch, as we’re staying down the lane on Holiday. Food was excellent, bar staff friendly and outdoor area perfect for kids. It was that good that we came back on Thursday to trial the main menu. Nicola our host was incredible, ensuring we didn’t need for anything. The food was brilliant enough to ensure we had to go and say thanks to Tony the chef. All in all, absolutely brilliant. Great food and an incredible local.

Stayed in the village of St Ishmaels for the third time in 2 years. The Brook is like a home from home pub. Where you're always made to feel like one of the locals. Great pub ith good ale. Bar staff very friendly. The Food, well this is some of the best food you will get in Pembrokeshire. Plenty of it and at a reasonable price too.Chef Tony is superb. The Sunday Lunch is a must if you are in the area. 10/10

We booked a table for 2, by phone on the same evening, about 1 hour before (Saturday 16th Nov) & s/w Nicki who was soo helpful.

We were welcomed when we arrived & had our drinks & food orders taken promptly, after discussing options with Nicki. She was so helpful & friendly, & my goodness, we were salivating watching everyone else’s orders coming out, whilst waiting for our own.

It was busy that night, they had a table of 20 celebrating together, & several other tables in addition to ours, plus lots in the bar area. The atmosphere was lovely, friendly, the wood fire was welcome & our food the best we’ve eaten in a long time.

The Japanese prawns for me, my partner his favourite, Whitebait & said they were the best he’s ever tasted! I had the Hunters chicken & my partner had a 12oz gammon steak, chargrilled pineapple, fried egg, beautiful hand cut & cooked chips, onion rings, salad with all the sauces we could want.

The servings were so generous. We didn’t have enough room for desserts, but they all looked delicious, when brought out for other tables.

This pub is a hidden gem; the chef was superb, food was incredibly fresh & so well prepared, the waitresses attentive, happy & helpful, the service all round, including the barman. Just wish this was in our doorstep in Devon & we’d be back weekly! 😀 Thank you,...

I work as a FoH in a respected hotel, therefore I am fully qualified to comment on this…. The new bar staff came across as aggressive and confrontational with her approach, as though we were encroaching. Really rather rude to be honest. Not at all welcoming. Food was sub standard. Asked for a child’s portion. Gave me an adult portion and then tried to charge me for it, even though half was left. Also why, would you put mashed potatoes (they had clearly been cooked so much that they were watery) with roast potatoes? Cheap. Cauliflower cheese appeared as though it had been put through a grinder. Weird. We have come here many many times for a roast, however after this experience, it’s a big fat sayonara from us! Sort your FoH staff out for a start Brook Inn and then tackle the...
