We have just arrived packed all our things into the caravan and then headed for a well earned beer at The Cliffs. Very very quiet as its first week in October. Had the place to ourselves. Went with pie of the day. chicken and mushroom. Very nice and wholesome with some nice veggies and chips and lots of gravy. Sadly the cliffs not open on Tuesdays and Wednesday so had to go elsewhere for a beer. Looking forward to the curry for 2 later. Will review that one tomorrow. Plus will review the whole stay experience next week. Words to live by when visiting the cliff always turn righty as left is to tighty 🤣🤣🤣

We were looking for a place to eat on the way back from Llandudno where we had been hiking. To be honest I was a little sceptical as it was in a caravan site however couldn’t have been more wrong. The restaurant had clearly undergone a refurb as was nice and modern inside. The service from our waiter was exceptional. He had recommending me the Cheese Burger and it was honestly the best burger I have ever had. My friends had the Chicken and Lamb skewers, both had said it was excellent. The food here is very high quality.

Called in for a Sunday carvery, what can we say? Food was amazing, staff are friendly, welcoming and polite. Nothing was too much trouble. The deco is modern, inviting and spotless. Lovely experience and the view across the valley was the perfect backdrop. Will definitely become a regular.

I Was there as part of a very large group for mothers day, 30+ of us, we had all ordered off the set menu with children choosing from the children's menu over a week in advance. While staff were friendly they were slow....very slow. Food took along time to reach us and children waited a very long time to get their meals watching as parents had starters, which is cruel send the children's food with the starters! Food was just about edible, I had the pate followed by the roast lamb, the pate was salty but not wholly disgusting, the lamb however was tough and while I appreciate lamb is a fatty meat I had more fat that tough meat, it was accompanied by 2 roasties one was burnt the other anemic, a dollop of lumpy mash and some carrot and Swede mash with cabbage, some on my table didn't have any veg it really didnt look appealing, we were all hungry, Even the children , the portion sizes were far too small my 10 year old barely had anything on his plate. He said he would of rather had wetherspoons food. I wont...

We went to the cliffs for Sunday dinner, we are a family of 6. We ordered starters that never showed up, they brought some of the main courses out and forgot one, when asked about the starters they got very confused and just put the main courses under the heat lamp so we asked for them and said we would have the starters when they were ready but we never saw them. The glasses were dirty and were never offered any refills. We were never offered any condiments or sauces. There was never any apology and we ended up paying for a very disappointing experience. The only saving grace was that the food was ok but definitely not worth the money. Will not be dining at the...

We stayed at Tanrallt for the week and ended up eating at the cliff restaurant twice. The first time, I had the BBQ chicken pizza—it was seriously delicious and packed with flavour. My mum, who doesn’t eat much, had the kids’ sausage and mash, which was just right for her.

We went back for the Sunday carvery and wow—honestly one of the best I’ve had! The meat was super tender, and the shared skillet of veggies was amazing. The dauphinoise potatoes and cauliflower cheese were so good, and there was loads of gravy (which I love!).

Prices were really reasonable for what you get, and the staff were all so lovely and attentive. Definitely worth a visit if you’re...
