Went Thursday evening with friends for the Thursday special of burger and a pint for £12 We were greeted by Ryan, our waiter We sat in the restaurant which was warm and comfortable, but there was also a bar area with log fire We all chose a beef burger with bacon, fried onions, and relish. It was an ample portion of succulent juicy burger which also came with chips, coleslaw, onion rings and a jug of sauce for dipping Ryan ( our waiter) was the most delightful young man, he was friendly, courteous and polite,. He was keen to know we were happy with our meal but at the same time unobtrusive This place is dog friendly, ample parking, and also had a good vegetarian menu It was easily accessed so suitable for wheelchair users I will thoroughly recommend this pub/ restaurant and will definitely be returning

We were staying in Llansteffan and decided to get some food here last night. I rang ahead and booked a table we ate in the bar area as we had our dog with us , the staff were very friendly provided water bowl for our pooch and there were dog treats on the bar. The food was delicious well cooked and nicely presented. Beef madras curry , vegetable lasagna and smokehouse burger with dirty fries. I would definitely recommend this pub if you are visiting the area and want some lovely food.

Lovely welcome. Airy freshly decorated pub. Next to the Capel Hen of historical interest. Large sized portions. They may sell more puddings if they put fewer chips on plates! Everything as described and cooked to perfection. Friendly helpful young waiting staff. Traditional bar. Clean loos. Yummy food. We headed to Llansteffan beach which is a 5min drive afterwards.

Came here from a recommendation, decoration is very busy, far too much going on. We were seated fairly quickly, and our order was taken very quickly along with drinks, which arrived in a timely manner.

We had 2 starters, garlic mushrooms and the tiger prawns, both of which were lovely, and cannot complain.

However, when it came to the mains, they were below standards. We ordered fish and chips, we thought the fish was curried, due to the colouring and taste of the batter, we questioned this on payment to be told it was ‘beer battered’ ( I can be almost 99% sure it was NOT beer battered. Another main was the lasagne, this was very dry, the cheese used was cheap, which had a bleach after taste.

Upon paying, the server asked how the meal was, to which we informed him that it was not satisfactory, to which he initially ignored us, until we pressed about the matter.

He offered us 20% off, due to eating half of the lasagne.

The waitress was friendly, good customer service and seemed to be apologising to a lot...

We visited the Farmers on Wednesday 26th June for a family meal, and yet again the food was outstanding - Absolutely faultless!! My husband had one of the specials which was a lamb and mint pie (full to the brim with huge chunks of meat) and I had the chicken in a leek and bacon sauce - beautiful and full of flavour. The children’s portions are a very good size, great value for money! There was also a live jazz band playing, which added to the lovely atmosphere! We then sat out in the beer garden to finish our drinks while the children played in the garden. We cannot rate this place enough, such a lovely little pub/restaurant! We look forward to...
