The Glascoed Pub — Restaurant in Wales

What a fantastic place! Friends in Cornwall had heard about this pub and wanted to visit. It isn't local to us but thought we'd give it a try. Initially, we drove past it thinking it was a sports ground and buildings but how wrong we were.

This place has everything and is not your average "pub". Outside they have a fabulous, large seating area - well spaced and plentiful with little, under cover booths. They have "street food" style dining outside that's perfect for al fresco, family friendly dining. Plenty of room for children to play in the adjacent fields without disturbing other diners or people wanting a relaxing drink. Lots of lovely, friendly staff on hand to serve and look after you. They take the Covid regulations seriously and plenty of sanitizing areas and really good social distancing measures in place. This area also does great quality take out food.

We ate in the indoor restaurant. Lovely, comfortable and well decorated environment with a tradition pub feel and immaculately clean. The tables were well spaced out to make it easy to get to your table without bumping in to other diners.

The menu consists of pub classics with a couple of surprises, but there's nothing "typical pub grub" about the food produced. Clearly they have a chef with a huge amount of pride in what they serve. It was absolutely delicious and even our worlds fussiest eater guest, who generally sends something back most meals, cleared her plate.

The engaging, warm and welcoming restaurant staff were attentive but not intrusive. We felt really well looked after!

I can't recommend this place highly enough. Food quality, ambience, cleanliness, staff.....all 5 stars. This is now on our radar and we intend to take all our visitors here going forward when we're looking for quality food in a relaxed...

Just popped in as I've driven by there numerous times,so thought why not give it a go!!.....wow what a shock! From the outside it doesn't look anything special however once you walk in through the 2 doors it's like stepping into the drs tardis! This place is huge! Excellent atmosphere,excellent food,excellent choice of ales and lagers both on tap and bottled. I had the large breakfast,what a bargain price! Lets put it this way its a steal! Piping hot and plenty of it!Plenty of parking,large outdoor seating areas,both patiod and on the grass area. Kids playarea (climbing frame etc,plenty for the wild rug rats to be kept entertained). Wheelchair access not a problem. Pool table inside,large dining areas. Upcoming events aa of May possibility of car boot sale,see glascoed pub car...

I had my wedding reception at the glascoed in June & cannot thank carl, Karen & the staff enough. Organising my wedding with them was such an easy process, nothing was too much trouble, their like a one stop shop, they do everything, the venue, decorating the room, the food, sweet cart, you name it they will provide it. We had a hog roast & then a buffet in the evening & I can honestly say the food was amazing. They have a huge field with a play area that kept big kids & little kids occupied all day & night, didn't hear 1 whinge or moan. The room was so tastefully decorated, it was absolutely beautiful, they were the most amazing hosts & my day was perfect. I 1000000% recommend them for anyone looking for a...
