Thougherly dissatisfied with my meal. I ordered a meal that was supposed to come with seasonal vegetables. The vegetables tuned out to be peas and nothing else. Just so the cook knows, peas are not seasonal vegetables; they're all year round and one type of veg should not be called the plural. The meal also came swimming ( not an exageration) in gravy. Perhaps cook might consider a small side jug of gravy so the customer can choose how much they wish to put on their meal. To top it all, the sausages were not browned at all and seemed to of been boiled??? Not pleasant at all. I tried to eat my meal but managed a quarter and felt pretty short changed. Cooking bangers and mash doesn't require much technical ability but the pubs cook has made a disaster of it. I won't be recommending this pub for meals, although it would be a good place for...

What a gem this place is, superb.

We have just got back from visiting Wales (for the first time ever) and having been to Devils Bridge we found this locally. On a whim we managed to get the last table for 2 for a Sunday roast. The pub is on an unreal scenic road and looks out across the hills... gorgeous.

Truly blown away at the quality of everything, as soon as we set foot here we knew we were onto a winner! The Sunday roast was amazing - the turkey and all the trimmings were cooked to perfection, and the dessert menu was all clearly homemade whichĀ we loved.

Really great value and super attentive, lovely staff. Just a real shame we live 5 hours away or I think we would be visiting...

It's a great pub / restaurant, not far from Aberystwyth, set up high with incredible views. There is plenty of seating inside, or try the new outdoor area, and take full advantage of the scenery. All the staff were amazing. So polite, friendly, and helpful. The food was lovely, and the portion sizes quite large. It was a brilliant place to visit. There is a large car park right next to the pub, so no problem there. There is a little bit of work being done at the front, but this won't affect you in any way. I would recommend that everybody try it at least once - you'll love it.

Incredible view, beautifully decorated inside and out, friendly service and the most delicious homemade food! Baguette was huge and full of great ingredients and as a lunch portion, the children’s veggie lasagne, chips and garlic bread (with the best homemade chips) was the perfect size for an adult and amazing value for money! The work to the facade mentioned in the last review appears completed. So glad we made the trip for lunch.

We had the pleasure of coming here not only once but twice. The staff are some of the best people I've ever come across. The food both times was outstanding freshly made by the chef who is also the owner. The restaurant is a very nice place to relax and enjoy the atmosphere. It's a must just for the views into the valley. Do not try to outdo this place as nowhere near comes close.
