Awful experience all in all. Was greeted with a fowl smell of death upon entering the car park which carried out into the play area and smoking shelter. As a result of the outdoor smell all windows were closed inside making for an uncomfortably warm experience. And now onto the food. Ordered an ultimate combo which took nearly an hour to come out. The steak was over cooked and seemed cheap, the chicken breast was over cooked to the point of being rubbery and not at all nice to eat. Ribs were nice, corn on the cob was frozen and the mashed potato while tasty was extremely dry. Couldn't eat the food and told the lady to please take it back as it wasnt a meal I was prepared to pay nearly £25 for. My Mother also couldn't eat her pork chop meal and sent it back as it was dry and the sauted potatoes were terribly over done and appeared to be roasted to rather than actually sauted. My sister waited over 20 minutes after our food came out and eventually gave up saying she no longer wanted it as everyone had already finished their meal or sent it back for being unsatisfactory. Other sister had chicken Kiev which was extremely dry but she ate it anyway as we travelled over an hour to get here, the food was edible in her words. We do not go out for food and pay good money for edible when I can stay at home and make better myself while multitasking with the kids. Dessert was prepackaged frozen tasteless garbage although was well presented. Waffle was microwaved and certainly not made fresh, ice cream was bland and tasteless as were the profiteroles. Food looked great and huge portions but none of the party of 10 actually enjoyed it. If you like giant tasty Instagram worthy looking food that doesn't taste of much you may actually really enjoy this place but if you want real food that's a delight to eat i would not eat here. Maybe the chef was having an off day or maybe it was the fact it was 10 of us and the pressure became too much, who knows. But I will not be returning. Furthermore the seating arrangement was poor with our party being stuffed into a corner which was unfit for full sized human beings and was a nightmare everytime someone wanted to go to the toilet or bar with eveyone having to get up and move to allow me to get past. Servers were lovely enough and offered me another dish but after waiting an hour for the first lot and with everyone already finishing their meal I kindly refused and went to McDonalds on the way home. Worst birthday meal for my mother to date, she ate 3 bites and couldn't eat any more and went to bed hungry. Devastatingly poor...

I hate leaving not so good reviews but the whole idea of reviews is to give your opinion on your own experience somewhere ! Went on a sunday with some friends who love going here and their young son.. It was raining and cold outside winter is here for sure so why is it so cold inside ! It was not jst me saying it eithr 2 of us left our coats on..we hsd jst left a warm toasty pub. It was so cold in there didnt feel like any heating was on at all ?and its november!lookd st menu pretty good selection butcrikey pretty expensive too.we orderd 4 meals. My friends meal lookd banging cheese burger onion rings chips lookd huge .the little boy had steak salad ..but hated the sauces thatcame as a side in little pots only to find under the steak was salad and more steak coverd in the same sauce or dressing he cldnt eat it .if serving it as a side maybe leave it off if they want to add it tney can..tbey were eating their meals for a gd 10 to 15 minutes when we had to ask politely for our 2 sunday roasts ideally people should eat together not 2 finish while 2 waiting to arrive. We had lamb sunday dinner..lamb was perfectly cookd and very very nice..however i found gravy watery andnot quite enough.i also didntfind my food hot ..? Not going to cause a scence its embarresing .cauliflower cheese was tasteless and no potatoes jst 2 roasties and not great veg..or choice.yorkshire pretty decent..size of dinner pretty small as the price expensive yu still have to pay extra for lamb ?? I froze tp death while eating hoping a hot gravy come along warm me up..service ok..not great or the best ..however soon as we finished and askd for the bill wow quickest service had all day take the money in seconds. Drinks expensive too.so what did i like!?? The look of my friends huge burger fries chips. .loads on his plate very hot yeh can deffo see where the reputation comes from. But for me..way to cold..inside and my food ! Not worth the money had bettr for cheaper elswere however no issue paying that price if worth it / happy. Would i recommend or return absoloutly not and im sure they wont be effected or care..butcannot see what all the hype was about and why didnt anyons tell me to wrap up warm .3 of us were frozen..1 star for the look of mt mates...

Where do I even begin. We booked a table for four a few weeks in advance due to wanting to visit on a Sunday and knowing everyone on a Sunday wants a good roast! During the call was not advised at any point that it was a slot booking. Took a while to be served around 25 minutes, food arrived and was the only good part - the roast was lovely. Unfortunately the same can’t be said for the rudeness of particular member of staff who felt it necessary just as we’d ordered deserts to inform us our table slot booking was over and (we knew nothing about this) he asked us to hurry up as people needed the table. We surrounded by some rude and ignorant people who assumed that we must of just been taking our time and were angry we had not moved from our table. This was not done out of ignorance but purely the fact we didn’t know it was a timed booking and we’d been served late. The staff should have dealt with this however they made the situation more uncomfortable by not addressing the fact they hadn’t been clear with us at the time of booking. We couldn’t finish our deserts as it was a ridiculously uncomfortable atmosphere and who wants to be glared at when eating? Let’s be honest! The manager did speak to us when asked for and was polite dealing with the situation and apologising, and that shouldn’t go unnoticed and did take the deserts off our bill and last round of drinks. The member of staff who was rude did give a half arse apology but it was pathetic and didn’t need to happen like that. As we were brought our bill again we were asked if we wanted another drink even though we’d been asked to leave! The long and short is, extremely busy, poor communication, too many heads, clearly set up for locals and will not be returning, not even a good roast potato can take away the rudeness of a particular...
