If I tell you all about this place it'll be harder for me to get a seat, but at the risk of that if you want a top drawer Sunday lunch here's where you need to be. Food - taste is fantastic, presentation the same, service is friendly & they fall over themselves to help. Lovely big central log fire roaring away. Massive marquee outside for when the weather warms up. Even though we were stuffed after our roast beef & turkey dinners we split a steamed sticky toffee pudding which was delicious too. After our disaster at the Three Pigeons yesterday this was heaven. Thank you Leyland Arms 😉👍

Didn't get food but stopped off for a quick drink. The area surrounding Leyland Arms is absolutely stunning. Truly a hidden gem. As soon as we entered through the classic old style front door we were greeted with a smile. Good selection of drinks, cold and fresh. Amazing building and architecture, I wanted to explore the whole thing! Definitely a place to check out in Wales. It's very out of the way but worth it!

Amazing, a truely exceptional pub - rural setting, uber friendly staff, great food/drink and so much more. The landlady (Jan) went out of her way to entertain our booking of 14 knowing that she had also to cater/entertain a full on Saturday afternoon wedding reception. Certainly from our point if view - it was perfection, all seated around 1 table and the food was delicious. Highly recommended

Recommended by Family, arrived on the Bank Holiday Sunday, 6 adults 2 children, short notice and was greeted with open arms, smiles and given the warmest of welcomes on a miserable typical Bank Holiday in Wales. The food was fresh local produce, the roast beef cooked to perfection, veg was plentiful and gravy was too die for. Even the bar menu meal of beef and ale pie smelt rich, looked great and was told tasted lovely. Desserts all made from thick clotted cream, totally fresh and really really plentiful. Eton Mess was messy and was devine. Plenty for the children too do, playing field with goal posts and footballs to use, sheep in the next field were friendly and curious and a local cricket game was still being played dispite the weather. Service was quick for freshly cooked, the girls were friendly and talkative, interacted with the children well and the locals encouraged the two boys too meet their dogs at the bar. In all a lovely pub, lovely staff, great chef and friendly...

We had such an unexpectedly wonderful experience here after getting a flat tyre while travelling through Wales in our VW Transporter. The team were incredibly kind and let us stay overnight in the car park, which was such a relief. The next morning, they went above and beyond by ordering us a replacement tyre and even taking us to get it fitted with our wheel.

On top of all that, the food was absolutely lovely and every single member of staff we met was so friendly and welcoming. What could have been a stressful situation turned into a really positive memory thanks to their generosity and hospitality.

Highly recommend this pub – not just for the great food, but for the genuinely caring people who run it.

We are looking forward to visiting again next...
