What a beautiful place and what beautiful hosts. Thank you so much for running such a lovely pub. The food was so perfect, so delicious, it was heartbreaking after finishing each meal that there was no more left. The orange cake with pecan and vanilla ice cream will forever live rent free in my heart. Absolutely recommend 100%.

Called for Sunday lunch, luckily they were able to fit us in but definitely recommend you book if you are thinking of going. Totally dog friendly and very welcoming. The Sunday lunch was amazing, eight veg!!, and excellent value so I can only assume the normal menus would be similar.

We came to the New Inn for a Sunday Roast. The welcoming from Neil and Rocky (the dog) was great and the food was absolutely delicious. Thanks to Sarah, Martha and Saskia for the food and help with my partner’s dietary needs. We will be back.

We went there on 3rd Aug 2019. We went PEN Y FAN during the day and stayed in Airbnb in glanpant, Wales. Since other reviewers wrote we have to book tables in an advance, we called them during off office time. But our kind host called them on behalf of us. Host knew the owners of this beautiful homely pub. We went there at allocated time and the owner Neil was so kind and welcoming. He has very good sense of humour and friendly person. His sweet wife Sarah was equally good and made very delicious food. Not sure if it was our hunger or their food but I will say their foods were spot on. Had special menu food and the one from menu itself. The portion is quite big for very reasonable price. We ate three course meals, everythg about this pub was spot on. Most of all they have a beautiful doggo called ROCKY! SOOO CUTEE. If in future we get to come south Wales then would definitely visit their pub. Must visit, cash and card both payable. Of course waiting for food time will be few mins late but everythg is fresh and mind you it's not fast food restro so can't complain and shouldn't either. FIVE STARS FROM...

This was the only pub in the region of where we were staying, the landlord/landlady were polite, professional and very welcoming. The food was beautiful and very reasonably priced.

We booked a last minute table for 6 for Sunday lunch. The host was accommodating and chatty. The bar prices were more than reasonable and the food was AMAZING. I cannot say I have had a better sunday lunch else where.

The meat was tender and tasty, the veg was cooked perfectly and the potatoes, oh the potatoes, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the side. PERFECT!! Each couple had different meats and we were all given gravy specific to the meat we had chosen. (Beef,Chicken& Lamb)

5 of us had desserts 4 on the brownie which was demolished by all. They didn't notice that it was GF it was that good. I had the crumble which was lovely. The fruit was tasty and tart with a sweet crumble topping. The custard presentation was cute but not practical when pouring out as it started to cool and clumped together but that didn't affect the meal.

Worked out at £20pp for 2 courses and 2 drinks each (mixture of soft...

We booked a table for 8 on a very wet Thursday night. The landlord was extremely welcoming, as were the other customers! They allowed us to bring two dogs too. The pub is cosy and warm. There were 4 choices of real ale, we had two of them and they were both excellent. We also had a cider that was made literally next door. Between us we ordered Steak Pie, Venison Stew, Venison Lasagne and a Seafood selection. All of the food was hearty and delicious. Just what we wanted after a day on the Welsh tourist trail. Neil, his wife and the young waitress that serves us were very friendly and helpful. It would definitely be advisable to book ahead as every table was full, even on a...
