Called in at the garden centre and couldn’t resist. Lasagna was amazing, the quiche was lovely. The salad with both was plentiful, beetroot and coleslaw gorgeous. Prices are far too cheap for the quality we had!! Staff lovely and cheerful. Wish we had the time to call again before the end of holidays.

Really nice cafe in a lovely garden centre. You can eat inside or outside surrounded by the plants and flowers. It was very peaceful outside, just the sound of the birds. The service was friendly and the food came quickly and was tasty. The cake selection was also really good to eat in or take away.

Visited today for lunch and we were absolutely blown away. The burger and panini we ordered were really good value and they tasted amazing. Loved the side salads too even my bf who doesn't normally like side salad enjoyed his and ate Beetroot for the 1st time in years.

We called in for lunch on Monday this week and were disappointed with the service and treatment we received. Along with drinks we ordered and paid for beetroot tart and a portion of chips. Our drinks arrived and about 10-15 minutes later a waitress came to us and said ‘just to inform you we have no beetroot tart’ and ‘did we want quiche instead’ There was no apology and we felt that that it should have been known when we placed our order that there was no tart. We did not fancy the quiche and decided to have a sandwich with the chips instead. Before we left my wife checked the menu again and noticed that not only was the sandwich £1 cheaper than the tart but if we had ordered the sandwich in the first place we could have had the chips for £2 instead of the £3 we paid. We had not been offered any refund and my wife went to the counter to point this out and mentioned that nobody had apologised. The same waitress simply said she had apologised and no refund was offered. We have been to the Potting Shed before and enjoyed the experience but not this...

Went into the cafe today, and asked a member of staff if they had any gluten free options, another member of staff shouted out, no nothing, I said, oh what not even a cake?

She then continued to "shout" at me that if I wanted sunday lunch I should have booked, and even then, that wasn't gluten free. Didn't really understand what that was supposed to mean.

After feeling very embarrassed for just asking a simple question, I decided that I should leave. There was no need for that behaviour, she could have just said no sorry we don't cater for celiac's.

Being a celiac isn't a choice, but the way you speak to a customer is.

My family and I left and went to the runaway kiln, which serves very nice gluten free food and cake, and where the staff have manners.

I will not ever go back again and...

TERRIBLE ATTITUDE FROM THE OWNER - I visited 'The Potting Shed' today with a friend. Unfortunately my friend ordered the Turkey dinner in a Yorkshire pudding and we were told that they did not have any veg but could give extra stuffing!!! The meal was stale, unatractive and tasted like it was left over from yesterday (Sunday lunch possibly) and reheated. We were told that we would not be charged the £10 by the waitress but when I went to pay the bill I was told that a £1 discount was all the BOSS/Owner would allow. When we were leaving the owner was very rude to us. I would not reccomend to...
