Shocking. Extremely misleading menu, pet dogs received better service and after care. To preface this, the food was sublime, hence the 1 star, otherwise all things considered it would definitely be 0 stars. A friend and I both ordered the slow braised lamb henry, expecting the words in brackets, please see below, to surely apply... (All served with roast potato's, creamy mash, carrots and red cabbage) Our food was served in a reasonable time, we were given 4 green beans, a portion of mash potato, and a lamb shank. We proceeded to wait a further 5 minutes expecting them to serve the rest of our food ... There was no more food. I went to speak to a member of staff, menu in hand, to ask where the rest was. He proceeded to tell me that, actually , what we had ordered, didn't come with the lovely words in brackets. Please explain to me why, on a menu, in the roast section, you place the words (ALL SERVED WITH) underneath a list of items, yet fail to specify that actually, one of the items in this list IS NOT served with? For what it's worth, the said item is the most expensive item in the roast section, yet is the smallest amount of food! When we paid twenty pounds and 95 pence, we were natutally expecting roast potato's, creamy mash, carrots, brocoli and red cabbage. We were not expecting to have to go and ask for this, and receive an extremely inconspicuous portion for our effort, and no roast potato's. We were going to bring up our concerns with the menu (picture included) in what we assumed would be a natural call back, a simple, routine gesture, asking if everything was OK. Ha, how silly, of course the only 2 non Caucasian customers didn't receive this service. Maybe due to.the staff being overworked and having no time for it ... No, low and behold, 10 minutes after we finish our meal, a man who we can only assume to be the manager arrives outside loudly, he walks right past our table with no acknowledgement of our existence or empty plates, he was on a mission, and that mission was visiting every table that had brought their dogs with them, and offering them a doggie treat. Amazing service, if your a dog. I would go so far as to say it was a complete slap in the face, witnessing dogs being given a better service. Needless to say we didn't stay for pudding. This was my first ever negative review on Google, I normally give 5 stars and an honest review of my experience. My experience at this establishment left me feeling extremely disappointed. If I ever return (doubtful), I will be sure to check and see if the menu has been amended.

Amazing Sunday dinner!! We were having a drink outside and the pub had to temporarily stop the lunches outside but they found us a table inside that we could have our lunch at,all the waiting staff were amazing,a bowl of water was given for our pooch and a little bone treat too!! The Sunday dinner is out of this world!! Cooked to perfection !! No room for pud!! The pub is beautiful outside and stunning inside too and spotlessly clean, please come and find this little gem when you visit Llandudno we found it a few years ago and make sure we visit when we come over for a day out!

We were stuck for somewhere to go for a Sunday Lunch, we searched on google and found The Queens Head. What a great find it was. Very good outdoor seating area where our dogs had plenty of space. Lovely inside too, we chose to sit outside as our dogs are shy and like their space. In terms of the food, I can honestly say, the best Sunday Roast I have had, the Beef beautifully cooked, lovely gravy and homemade Yorkie were also beautiful. 3 good size roasts, mash and plenty of veg. 100% recommend a visit to this establishment

Me and my Wife were looking forward to our visit on a sunny afternoon on a surprisingly beautiful early May bank holiday. We got a drink from the bar and took a seat on the large middle outside table. We both sat opposite each other at the end. We were asked by a group of six people if we would mind us sharing the table with them and they sat down. We were only having a drink but they all ordered food. They started complaining as soon as they started eating and things got a lot worse very quickly. The Manager/Head Waiter was called and the complaining got worse between them. We were caught up in the middle of this fracas and no one acknowledged us or apologised for the disturbance and inconvenience which quite frankly ruined what was meant to be a pleasant and relaxing afternoon in the sun. We drank up and left.

On a separate visit this week with a friend, again sat out in the beer garden I asked the Same waiter/ manager for a menu and was told they were inside! Whilst he did eventually bring us a menu we were not asked again if we wished to order anything. The Queens Head has always had a reputation for excellent customer service and attention to detail. I experienced neither of these on the 2 occasions I have visited recently

Customer service zero The old owner was stuck in his ways but he knew the correct way to treat his loyal paying customer and kept a much tighter ship.

To sum up this Establishment is overpriced...

WOW, where to start. The service is simply outstanding. Very polite and willing to do what ever they can to cater to what ever need you may have. The kids menus double up as pictures to colour in which is a simple touch but helps keep little ones entertained. Our little boy used his up and asked one of the waitresses if he could have another one. She said it would be no problem at all. 15 minutes later she appeared very apologetic with the extra menu and to say sorry to him as she had taken so long getting back to him and as he had asked to politely she had brought him a little shortbread biscuit. Its the little touches which really make a place. Our son was beaming all the way home in the car declaring how much he loved the waitress. The food was brilliant. Generous portions but not overfacing and extremely good value. Highly recommended the Scallops starter and the Lamb main which was cooked perfectly and very tender. A great experience and highly recommended so glad we tried it after it was recommended to us. We will certainly be going again if we are over this way in the future. It was busy so booking is recommended but they were set up perfectly to cope with...
