Fantastic relaxing place with ship decor tastefully done throughout the pub. The service was excellent and people were friendly. The allow dogs inside, but these must be kept on a lead. Fabulous place and well worth a visit 😀

Tasty home made Spagbol and nice chunky fish plus free basket of bread. Reasonable price too. Staff are lovely and attentive. We Definitely would go back again. Thanks.

Great place with fab, friendly staff. Good for food and/or drinks. Lots to keep kids occupied too. We also enjoyed the breakfast. We will definitely be returning 😁

Very disappointing service from the owner on two separate occasions. The first occasion we waited over half an hour for our food to then be told the owner hadn't put the order through correctly so the ticket hadn't printed through to the kitchen, there was no apology from the owner for the wait, we eventually had our food after over an hour and 15 minutes of waiting. The second occasion was today we had booked a table for food, near the park, we were told this was not a problem. When we arrived, we were told they were now not doing food as it was apparently too busy, bare in mind there was all of the front beer garden tables available and at least half of the tables under the marquee available. We were told we had to sit inside because there was no room, despite booking a table. When we queried why we hadn't been contacted regarding the food service being stopped the owner shrugged his shoulders stating "well there's nothing I can do about it now, we have closed the kitchen". Despite this we ordered a round of drinks to allow the two little boys who were with us to use the park facilities, we had half of the order brought to us, we then had to wait 28 minutes for 2 cokes, having asked for them 3 times. A very disappointing, disorganised service. The chef and waitress were very apologetic and seemed very stressed at the chaos that was being "managed" by the owner of...

What an exp Awful customer service. No check to see if everything was okay. Unable to complain . No one came over. Then I explained food was cold. Most of our meals were left uneaten. Wrong chips with three of the meals. Cold gluppy burgers. In the Chicken box , breast pieces freezing . Went to take a bite and stopped. No beans on the one child's meal . Wrong child meal at the start. Then the waitress called us a lier . When we all said we ordered hot dog not sausage. The conversation went. Are you sure you want a hot dog and not chicken nuggets like your sister. As there will be no changing your mind. To which I youngest grandchild replied. Yes I want a hot dog.i will eat it.

The waitress said no you didn't. Clearly we did. The waitress was aggressive in tone . I said. Im not arguing . The food was cold, thats why its not eaten. The onion rings were also thick with grease and frezzing cold, She replied it was hot when arrived. I said no it wasnt. She said it was. ( awful tonne of voice) I again asked, c an we have the bill . We just will not return . It cost £98. Awful experience from...

Terrible experience. Midweek evening meal. Partner had gammon which was full of fat, I'm vegan, very poor choice, either sausages or burger, if you don't understand what it means just don't bother putting any vegan options on the menu there's no shame in that, there's no law says you have to offer it but if you do for goodness sake get it right. Burger was cheap and dry, they split the bun to try and make it look bigger on the plate but at the end of the day it was a cheap, overcooked burger on a dry bun with a bit of lettuce a slice of tomato a slice of cucumber with a dollop of salsa. There was a pretentious skewer holding three tiny onion rings down. On a very serious note though the chips tasted of fish, they use the same oil for everything. Forgetting the fact a vegan doesn't want to taste fish, anyone with a fish allergy could be in...
