Not too impressed I'm afraid. It could SO EASILY be better. Swap the horrid white label brown and tomato sauce for a decent brand, same with the bread buns. Use butter, not horrid cheap margarine, same with the cheese on the burger (I had to scrape it off). Also don't serve food on stone cold plates in an outdoor environment. Prices are as you would expect with rising food costs but for around £4 I got a proper sausage, bacon and mushroom buttie with plenty of filling. Food cooked to order and piping hot. Read moreFood with view! My son and I were on our way to Bangor and I wanted to take the scenic route from the south. I'm glad we did. We saw this cafe's flags on our way up the hill so we dived into the lay-by. It was back in April. The couple running it were very friendly and food was great. We ate our sausage and egg breakfast rolls al fresco with a view to die for. You sit under a taverna outside. I can't wait to find an excuse to visit up there again so I can stop at the Toll Gate cafe....
