I've been meaning to stop here for quite some time, but I finally got the chance to. It was surprisingly quiet when I went as it's uallly quite busy. At first seeing the price I thought it was a bit steep but when the bap came out that was bigger than my hand it's was actually a great deal as it was humongous and the coffee was very good. Thankful for the heater as that made the shelter much nicer from the bitter cold. 100% will go back and try rest of the menu

Been going here on our way to Snowdonia for years , and although the older couple have retired the new owners make sure your looked after too. Lovely fresh food , home cooked cakes and an outdoor sitting area with beautiful views . This cafe is now open all year round now too . Owners are very friendly , go try them out ..

I’d say this place a hidden gem, but you can see it pretty clearly from the main road. Had a lovely veggie breakfast (not on the menu) on the way back from a cycling event. Quick, friendly service. Would recommend!

Not too impressed I'm afraid. It could SO EASILY be better. Swap the horrid white label brown and tomato sauce for a decent brand, same with the bread buns. Use butter, not horrid cheap margarine, same with the cheese on the burger (I had to scrape it off). Also don't serve food on stone cold plates in an outdoor environment. Our food was stone cold within minutes of it being served. We did not stay for tea or coffee, we imagine that would also be of poor quality. For just short of £20 for two burger and chips I really...

A Bikers Cafe which is a little gem. Think decent mugs of tea and generous bacon butties and it sums up this little place. Prices are as you would expect with rising food costs but for around £4 I got a proper sausage, bacon and mushroom buttie with plenty of filling. Food cooked to order and piping hot. It was quick, has easy payment, friendly service and great views. Very popular having driven past a number of times and seen the cars and bikes outside. Always a good sign and definitely worth...

Food with view! My son and I were on our way to Bangor and I wanted to take the scenic route from the south. I'm glad we did. We saw this cafe's flags on our way up the hill so we dived into the lay-by. It was back in April. The couple running it were very friendly and food was great. We ate our sausage and egg breakfast rolls al fresco with a view to die for. You sit under a taverna outside. I can't wait to find an excuse to visit up there again so I can stop at the Toll Gate cafe....
