Was it something that I said? Other reviewers comment positively on the friendliness of the staff and welcoming atmosphere of Traeth Coffee. Sadly, my experience was quite the opposite ... while the female server was friendliness itself, the man behind the counter seemed almost indignant by my enquiries about what was served for breakfast and lunch ("like what?" was his response to both my questions) as if I was putting him out. The toasties were tasty enough, served on supermarket sliced bread with a garnish of generic salad and balsamic glaze. Shame, really, as the location is lovely, the cafe is dog friendly, and Ferryside is a charming...

Spent a week in Wales being disappointed every time I ordered a flat white until we stumbled across this gem of a coffee shop at Ferryside. The owners (sorry, I forgot your names) genuinely care about what they are serving you and have gone to a lot of effort to source an incredible coffee and make homemade cakes. I wish you were on our doorstep near Brighton, but wish you the very best with your new cafe - I hope it's everything you want it to be and more. P.s. thanks for the bonio for doggo 👍 You're no.1 on the list when we're nearby again.

Please go and try this place, you will not be...

Me and my Girlfriend came here with my family, terrible customer service the guy literally didn’t give us our drinks after my dad had asked and all he had to say for himself when remind was ‘’oh sorry’’ and there was a not a tiny bit of care in his voice however the big part of the extremely awful experience was the fact that he was rude and dismissive to my little brother has learning difficulties telling him off for absolutely no reason at all and him and the other server exchanged judgmental and rude glances with my brother which upset him DO NOT COME HERE IT IS...

I have been visiting Ferryside for around 8 years with my family as my mum lives in Crosshands. This little coffee shop is a well needed and perfect addition to Ferryside. Very friendly owners, great coffee, and milkshake for the children. Dog friendly with treats and fresh water. Seating inside and out, facing the beach and a fabulous wooded hut area with an additional 15 seats (pictured). I didn't rate the food as I didn't have any on this visit 😊 Highly recommend a visit to Ferryside and Traeth coffee shop.

Good aesthetic and has the potential to be a nice place on the sea front - but really disappointing coffee and welsh cakes. The Welsh cake was really plain and dry (worst one I had during my stay) and the coffee was weak and lacked any real roast flavour. I also recieved quite unfriendly service from the gentleman there. I found this particularly surprising as everyone in Wales has been so kind. This was seconded by my friend who attended the place a few days later.

Great coffee place right next to the beach. Good food and good coffee. Has a hidden outside seating area that the kids will love (and the adults). Fab idea is the 1972 juke box which is Freeplay with donations going to local charities. All cakes are homemade by the owners wife. A real find.
