Revisited Twnti again last night 10th August 2024 our 5th biait in 4 years and we were not disappointed- no Keith last night sadly and I missed his banter but lovely service from the two young gentleman and waitress - photos have been posted - I had the halibut and it was cooked perfectly by Marissa she is so talented when it comes to cooking the fish dishes 👍 Jim had the baked king scallops and again cooked perfectly - I can’t recommend this restaurant highly enough - until next time As soon as we walked into the restaurant we were greeted warmly and welcomed. Lovely feel surrounding the whole restaurant. The owner came and explained the menu and recommended a few options. We chose the whitebait and crab tartlet. The pastry was freshly made by the chef that morning which incidentally is the wife and co owner of Twnti . Mains were amazing we ordered Trio of fish which was outstanding and the King Scollops were perfect. The atmosphere was so friendly and the owner was so friendly and made us feel really welcome . This is a gem of a restaurant and one for sure we will be returning to. Thank you both for such a wonderful night of perfect food.

Lots of potential. There’s no doubt that simple works best when it comes to seafood. But it’s my humble opinion that when it comes to eating out, one seems to be amazed by something that could only be whipped up at home with difficulty, lots of practise or too many steps to bother (I’m looking at you, Heston’s Black Forest Gateau). So it may be that I’m jaded after having sampled the Humber Fish Co. just last week, with the Fisherman’s Table the week before and a plethora of piscine purveyors prior to feel the cockles of my heart warm at the memories of a good night out. The quality of the ingredients are certainly excellent and the environment amiable and cosy. The crab tartlet shows that the kitchen have the talent, but the mundane mains lack the wow factor. I’m a believer in Monsieur Sirieix’s emphasis on the vital role that the front of house staff play in the dining experience. While pleasant, a wine order was missed and their knowledge of the menu need more work. In all fairness, staff are now hard to come by but the stellar service at the nearby Crust pizza outlet in Abersoch is something to be aspired to.

Wow! What a rare gem this is. Friends told us about it and it did not disappoint! Apparently this has been here for over 20 years. It’s in the middle of nowhere but it’s delightful. Nice people, great service and really good food. It’s not good to try and make comparisons but the downside here is the price. Everything is good we had seen prices before going but reality is key. A meal for 4 people in Abersoch one week earlier, with two quality bottles of wine cost half of what this meal cost for 2 people with one bottle of wine. Based only on that fact we would go again but we won’t be frequent visitors as we would elsewhere.

We had excellent food and service at the restaurant on12th May. The highlight of the meal for me and my husband was the Lobster Thermidor which was outstanding – locally sourced (from Nefyn) and cooked in a the traditional recipe and which could not have been bettered. My husband really enjoyed his moule marinere to start – the mussels were from Shetland and it was a generous portion. I had the fishcake with side salad - the side salad of rocket and orange was a pleasure in itself. To finish, husband had the sticky toffee pudding (he said it was the best he’s ever had) and I had a lovely shortcake/cream concoction. We enjoyed everything about the meal – including the bread and butter and an excellent Sancerre recommended by the owner. We left feeling very pleasantly full and will certainly return next time we are on the...
