White Lion Hotel and Bar — Restaurant in Wales

Short version: Brilliant place, excellent friendly service, atmosphere is great both in the bar and the restaurant. Excellent choice for either sandwich lunch and Sunday roast. We will be coming back and urge you to give it a try.

Detailed version: It’s our fifth holiday staying in Cerrigydrudion. But first time in White Lion since it reopened last year. We love the story of the community climbing together to save the place.

We stopped for a sandwich lunch which was excellent! Fresh, yummy hit the spot! Came back today for a Sunday roast. We started with garlic mushrooms on garlic bread and onion soup. For mains we took the veggie option and the beef, even the children portion was served with a yummy crunchy Yorkshire pudding the size of my head😁 Food was gorgeous! our older son complained about getting the children’s portion but he was beaten by it and had to be carried out 😄.
