Whitesands Beach House — Restaurant in Wales

The perfect place to rehydrate after time on the beach or as part of a walk along the coastal path, also makes a great destination in its own right. Offering an extensive choice of hot and cold drinks, you can also enjoy ice creams, cakes and hot savoury dishes. There is indoor (don't overlook upstairs) and outdoor seating. The shop also sells a good range of beach items: shorties, toys, towels and everything else that you might need plus postcards and gifts. If you don't actually make it to the sand, this is still a nice place to visit. The staff are lovely and know the local area very well. Sensible prices make it an easy choice for drinks and maybe a snack. Excellent! The toilets are next door and run by a different organisation - 40p a visit (card payment) as of April 2024, but clean, tidy and well stocked and working. The car park is large, but so is the beach! Expect plenty of visitors when the weather is good and...

DISGUSTING!!!! AVOID!!!!

I paid for 3 meals of chicken strips and fries, and 3 drinks of which came to total of £24. First of all the wait was at least 30 minutes, then when my number was called out they salt and vinegar which says ‘do not move from counter’, I went to put vinegar on my chips and the lid was faulty which ended up the full tub all over my chips. A staff member seen this and just walked off, then when I informed another staff member he told me to wait at my table and he would bring me new ones out. He then came out 10 minutes later and told me it’s my own fault and I wasn’t allowed new ones. This was there product that was faulty so I asked for a manager. No manager came out so I went in to speak to someone my self, they all completely ignored me and another staff member said I had to buy them again!!

The food was disgusting and burnt to start with.

They serve excellent food we had the sausage and chips ! Highly recommend this place.

The nicest hosts you could hope to meet. So kind to my family today who needed a Good Samaritan, we are really grateful to them. Finally it has the benefit of being on one of the prettiest beaches in wales.
