This is NOT a Tobey carvery. This place is high end Sunday dinner business. If the rest of the menu is as good as this we wouldn't be surprised. We went on Sunday and not many people there.(Normally a bad thing)We couldn't be any more wrong. The best Sunday dinner we have eaten out hands down. You pay for what you get and in this case all seven of us had an amazing Sunday roast.I was expecting Jamie Oliver to come out,it was that good!!!The beef is delicious and my nephew(who is a fussy eater)loved the belly pork. The two ladies serving us were very welcoming.Big compliments to the chefs. We will be coming back.Limited parking.Just park further up near the bus stop and not higher up infront of the houses.A big ten out of ten from us.

Can't rave about this place enough, and as someone with kitchen experience, this place brings the standard high with their excellent food, friendly, and welcoming service and great vibes all through! This place deserves more stars if possible. Definitely the highlight of our trip! And we look forward to returning. Try the pork belly!

Disappointing experience. Didn't really get much of a greeting upon entrance to an almost empty restaurant. Generally the place is a bit grubby, chewing gum under table and dirty glasses given for water. Flat Stella on tap, couldn't finish it and not the best wine. Holding out for decent food, however unfortunately this fell short also. Clearly left over Sunday carvery thrown into a pie, disguised by a serious amount of mint sauce. Out of the 5 meals not one reached average standard. Even the kids meals looked and tasted like someone really didn't want to cook them. Paid a not so cheap bill and unlikely to return any time soon....

Great Roast Lamb Sunday lunch for my wife and I, holidaying with our Cockapoo. Recent change of ownership, but the food was good quality being well presented, comprehensive and tasty. A pint of cider each to wash down the food. Knowing we were eating out, we both had space for an Eton Mess. Rather than the source of the original dish, these were very carefully constructed, being neat. Two meals with a side dish of cauliflower cheese, two sides and two desserts for £72. Please pop in and support our owned hostelries, much better than a...
