Went today for a meal with husband I had mixed grill well what a sorry state for a mixed grill I had a piece of steak that was lovely but only 2 mouthfuls gammon I couldnt eat it was dy and salty and also a very small amount a single sausage which was nice but when your paying £20 u expect 2 at least and literally a mouthful of chicken I got the whole piece of chicken in my mouth at once it was tiny a few mushrooms and a few tomatoes with a corn cob which was that hard I couldn’t eat it the chips were not cooked enough so did not eat them I also ordered some onion rings which they forgot so didn’t bring with meal so I asked she said il check for u which about 3 mins later they came out a big portion but my god they needed at least another 5 mins in fryer so they were undercooked so they were not eaten either my husbands meal he enjoyed which was the hunters chicken burger and salad he didn’t eat his chips...

HONEST HOME MADE FOOD & DOG FRIENDLY PUB Me and my wife were staying in the area and looked up dog friendly pubs near me. How pleased were we, especially when the food came out...if you're hungry this is the place to eat! The prices are great! We had chilli on nachos and Hunters chicken. I had to finish my wife's chilli as the portion was too big for her! The only suggestion we have for mains...maybe separate the chilli from the nachos in its bowl so they don't go too soggy... We opted for a takeaway desert - blackberry and apple pie with custard...it was delicious and the lemon and lime cheese cake is amazing! All home made food and the NEW LAND LADY HAS ONLY BEEN THERE 4 WEEKS would definitely go back and would recommend it! I've gave a 3 star on atmosphere as it was a middle of the week and quiet. If you're on holiday or a local please give this...

6 of us stopped at Y Mari Glyn unaware that it has changed hands some 3 weeks ago. I am so glad we stayed! The food was fresh, simple and delicious. My garlic mushrooms tagliatelle was superb, portion very generous and at a really reasonable price. Toby, a partner in the new ownership was a fantastic, energetic and refreshingly honest server and made us laugh several times. Moreover, Toby's Mum bakes the cakes from the dessert menu and to say they, too, are delicious, is an understatement 😋 We live in Devon but we are planning another trip to beautiful Wales in September when I will be booking a table at Y...
