Grill Guyz — Restaurant in Walsall

Was out of town from London for work, met up with a brother who suggested we try out GG, was welcomed by a lovely lady who took our order, confirming exactly what we were getting with a Platter for 4 adults, placed the order and they were kind enough to allow us to use the toilet and wash the hands. Turkish bread with salad and Humous and Yoghurt were served first, then along came the beautiful platter which has Chicken and Lamb Donor, Chicken and Lamb Shish and Chicken and Lamb Adana Kebabs as well as Chicken wings and Lamb Ribs, all this accompanied by Rice and Bulgur. Food portion was decent actually perfect for the two of us, might need to go bigger if there are 4 adults. Quality of meat was succulent, juicy and fresh. The spice sauce and garlic were on point and really complimented when dipping the meat. Very clean meat with no smell from donor meat unlike some other places. A vibrant nice bright atmosphere with some seating available, towards the end we were given Turkish Tea, one of the best I had and it was complimented with lovely Mint tasting Turkish Delight really hitting that spot leaving the mouth feeling refreshed. Staff were very kind and attentive offering more tea top up and the food preparation and cooking time took a little under 20 minutes which is absolutely fair. If ever in the area will visit again. I'm definitely a happy bunny about to cover another few hours on driving knowing i have had some amazing food, Well Done...

I had the pleasure of dining at a wonderful Grill Guyz restaurant tonight with my family and friends. From start to finish, our experience was nothing short of exceptional. One of the standout aspects was the incredible value for the delicious meal we enjoyed. The prices were surprisingly reasonable for the high-quality dishes we indulged in.

The shop claims to be Turkish but the "donner" kebab is cut so thin that it's cold before it even reaches the Naan. Real Turkish kebab is not cut with an electric shaver into paper thin strips of meat, they use a very large knife/machete and cut it by hand.

The Naan itself doesn't seem to be freshly baked either, just re heated in the oven. Portion size is very small for the prices they are charging you'll soon realise the place is a rip off. Cutting the kebab thin mght make it "look bigger" than it is but I could easily eat 2 of their Large Donner kebab in Naan including the boxes and still have room for a small one on top + dessert. The kebab has hardly any weight to it.

Most of the local kebab shops/chippies in the area do a Large kebab which has some weight to it and serves in a freshly cooked Naan.

I've had much better, larger Turkish kebabs for less in London than what these guys are charging for a small portion in walsall's...
