Well where do I begin … called to order my elderly parents 2 Sunday dinner delivery and had an attitude from the start Because I said I think there post code is … he said first of all get the correct post code and call us back I was holding up a very busy line! I work in customer care and would never speak to a paying customer in this way … anyway dinners ordered mom called me saying we can’t eat this the meat so tough we can’t cut it the potatoes arnt cooked neither are the peas the only thing we ate was the roasters and carrots now bear in mind my dad has dementia’s so because he was hungry had ate a couple .. so I called them back to complain about them not being cooked had a stinking attitude from him saying there’s nothing wrong with the dinners! Mate it’s still in the box uneaten he wasn’t going to refund them 😡 £24 for inedible food and firmly told me NOT TO BOTHER-ORDERING AGAIN THIS IS THE CHEFS ATTITUDE i only hope no other elderly parents get the same inappropriate service anyway in the end delivery driver collected the uneaten food and refunded …to whoever I delt with get yourself to customer service lessons this is not how you deal with a complaint! Read moreVery disappointed with Valentines evening meal (also my husbands birthday). Although the staff were lovely, the service was far too slow as not enough staff to cope with the demand. We were sat for half an hour waiting to order, when staff member came over, only the drinks order was taken, were then waiting almost another half an hour to order food. The food was lovely, but the dirty plates sat there for an hour because the staff were too busy to take them. We wanted to order dessert but was told we would be in for a long wait due to the amount of orders - our children were really disappointed as they were looking forward to dessert. We asked for the bill instead and waited ages for that. Shame really, as it put a dampener on my husbands birthday AND valentines day. My mother-in-law complained to the manager the next day who was shocked that we weren't happy with the service and blamed the issues on people not arriving to their booked times and ordering en mass...no apology. Read moreGot to say we were really disappointed. We went with friends at my suggestion last weekend. We arrived fifteen minutes early and were seated only one other table was occupied. Then exactly when our table was booked for our friends joined us. By this point two other couples had arrived and were seated. The young lady who was serving brought us friends their drink orders. Then came straight back and asked for our meal order. I asked if she could please give us FIVE minutes. She went away and immediately came back to say " if we didn't order NOW we would lose our slot" . Feeling annoyed and embarrassed we all just picked something from the menu. Let me point out.,the other three tables all had their food at this point and we were the only other table in the restaurant. The food came it okay but honestly I've had much better at Wetherspoons.
