Wonderful cafe situated 2 mins from devil's punchbowl area. Has much less of a tourist / national trust day visitor vibe to it, and more of a people in the know / locals vibe. There's a huge selection of cakes and snacks, from bacon and egg baps, through pastries, teacakes, and lots of homemade cakes. Outside seating is limited, but there's a fairly high turnover as many visitors are walkers, cyclists, etc, so they're not there for long. Parking is fairly limited, and the toilets are very clean. There's fresh local ice cream and a huge range of teas and coffees. Open 9am 3pm weekdays, closed Tuesdays, 9 till...

Took a little trip here for the first time with my daughters this morning.... loved it! The most amazing sausage and bacon baps! Very good value too and the owners were lovely and friendly, felt like a home from home... can't wait to return. They also had a fun quirky board on the wall full of foodie quotes and a couple of signatures from some celebrities! I couldn't possibly reveal who though 😉 you would have to pop in, grab a bite to eat and a brew...

Stopped here after walking The Devils Punch Bowl and really pleased we did. Food was brilliant and served with care and thought. We had Toasties and Jacket potatoes, the sides were served in ramekins meaning it didn't get all over the food before you were ready to eat. The service was fantastic and we were made extremely welcome in a peaceful and pleasant setting. Prices were also extremely reasonable in comparison to the Cafe at the...

My wife and I were both impressed with this cafe. The food was lovely, well cooked and hot, but not too hot. The staff were very friendly and polite, and they gave our table a jug of water. They have some seats outside as for you to enjoy, and the prices were reasonable for a cafe. I would recommend anyone who is either visiting Devils Punchbowl or Hindhead to visit this cafe, if you can there is parking opposite but not a lot

What a delight to come across this superb cafe on a long cycling trip. Outstanding food selection at affordable prices - incredible value. Lovely service although not the quickest as everything is made fresh to order - but so worth the wait! They even have a ‘emergency kit’ for cyclists with a track pump, puncture repair etc.
