Just what a proper traditional pub should be. Popped in for a quick pint with my wife and we were welcomed straight away. Beers on tap I hadn't seen in years and a welcome variation from all the IPA's on sale nowadays. Too many pubs have been "Farrow and Ball'd" nowadays to please everyone from 8 to 80. Unfortunately my photography skills are negligible and do not do justice the perfect roast. The fruit in the Eton mess gave me a Proustian rush back to childhood where strawberries tasted of strawberries! The staff were so friendly and welcoming to a newbie.
